Yup.. but once they (hopefully) beat us, Miami will have no reason to play any of their main guys our last game as Brooklyn holds the tiebreaker over Miami.

Not at all. Just want the 5th worst record... where we were for a majority of the season until other teams decided to tank first.

Clutch analysis right here. Need incentives in place to help our quest for #5

All that I can say is that if we are having a tanking discussion again this time next year, something must have gone terribly wrong.

If the Magic lose out, they'll guarantee themselves at worst a 3-way tie for 6th worst.

If the Pacers beat the Pistons tomorrow, then it could be a 2-way tie with the Wizards.

Okeke played a good game if we're being fair, he just couldn't make a shot. Which has been the thing for him all along. There's a place for him if he can make shots, but he just hasn't been able to.
11/18/2017 - I have officially disowned Nikola Vucevic and branded him a loser.

- Skal Labissiere was my guy in 2016 pre-trade. Whoops, but I still believe.
- Malik Monk was my guy in 2017. Whoops(?)
- Mo Bamba was my guy in 2018. TBD.

Well... mission accomplished. Loss and Suggs played well.

For the record…

I dont care if we miss out on Wemby or Scoot… I wasn’t expecting to be in that conversation this season with improvements and Paolo/Franz.

However, getting jumped by 3 tanking teams in the last few games of the regular season shouldn’t happen if it can be avoided. At that point you are losing value in the gamesmanship of how the league operates.

I expected the Magic to be at least good enough to not be in that position and they weren’t.

To the fans at Amway, I am so sorry this is what you got.

Really just need the Pacers to beat the Pistons tomorrow.

I don't think Portland or Washington is likely to win again even though Washington plays Houston at home.

Not at all. Just want the 5th worst record... where we were for a majority of the season until other teams decided to tank first.

And what if the 6th worst gets the #1 pick. Its all random regardless of what meaningless % they assign to it

That would be poetic. A Shaq/Penny do over. A chance to get it right.

Yup. And to add, this team is clearly better than the record. A sustained period of .500 basketball, the only reason this is a discussion is because the entire guard rotation was injured and we went 5-20 to start the season.

The Blazers just scored on their own basket and followed it up with a shot clock violation on the other end.

It’s still somehow a close game.

For sure. Again, I'm not overly complaining like I did years ago when were trying to win with Vuc, Evan, and AG. It's just that I'd rather have more lotto tickets and were in a better place just a few weeks ago. It is what it is. I just think it's shortsighted with this being our last down-year (hopefully).

Houston is tied for the second worst record and has to play the Hornets and Washington to finish out the season. Their fans are definitely sweating bullets
