JD and KJelly aren’t in the playoff roster. I’d rather give every minute to Pritchard Hauser and Griffin. Guys who might actually be called upon in the postseason.

They will get their turn. Just not today. All about 18.

I would still have liked to have gotten a decent evaluation opportunity for JD in a blow out.

evaluation for what? whether he gets a roster spot next season, has nothing to do with what he does out there in the last few mins in garbage time in a meaningless game.

They're looking at how he plays and the effort he shows in practice, and what he showed throughout the g league season. they'll look at how he does in summer league this season, in training camp in october..

how he did tonight will count for basically nothing in terms of the team evaluating him. it's just good to get him some reps, some experience on an NBA floor, playing with his teammates, against NBA competition. It's all experience for him, that's all.

The last 5 mins of this game, that wasn't even real basketball. It was a pickup game. Guys just running up and down, throwing the ball up there. You can't evaluate that.

I typically enjoy back and forth discussion. But this is a pretty pompous response, so not really worth the effort.

'Twas never in doubt. Hope they also TCOB against the Hawks even with less/no minutes from the starters to finish the RS strong and give the non-starters the reps they need to get ready for the playoffs.
