ATL: Bullock + 2027 DAL 1st (top4 protected)
Hawks lower their tax bills gaining also more flexibility going forward.

DAL: Capela + Anunoby.
Mavs get rebounding, rim protection and overall a huge defensive boost.

TOR: Bertans + Hardy + #10.
Raps get a cheaper younger Trent replacement with good potential in Hardy and a top10 pick for an expiring OG.

Capela / Powell
Anunoby / Kleber
Green
Irving / Hardaway
Doncic

Assuming this is enough to get both of them(I still think Masai would still ask for the moon for OG though) on paper that's a contender if Kyrie and OG can stay healthy. The cons are this team would lack some depth, if we make these moves we could only sign players on minimum salary because it's a very expensive team (assuming Kyrie gets his max contract) and with the new CBA we have to stay under the second apron (projected to be around 180mln) to receive more salaries than we send out via trades and to use at least a part of the tax-mle.
Kyrie (46,9) + Luka (40,06) + Capela (20,62) + OG (18,64) + THJ (17,89) + Kleber (11) + McGee (5,76) + Green (4,76): 165,63mln committed to only 8 players, leaving 14/15 mln in salaries to fill the roster.

Anyway they have to plan the next offseason very well, this summer is gonna be crucial for the future of this franchise.

I like this. Though ATL would probably ask for 2 FRPs and TOR would ask for 3 FRPs as their asking price. Unless you add Green or Hardy to the package to bring the FRP count down.

Kidd in his post game interview - "a lot of people wont be back next year"

I expect them to clean house. Rightfully so. Missing the god damn playoffs. Theo Pinson as his final act as a Maverick needs to go 2 for 30 from three point range in his last game so he will be remembered as one of the greatest Maverick of all time. LMAO!!!!

They should resign Pinson just for that!

I like...I think the Hawks are asking for Maxi. they desperately need space in the frontcourt and some extra size..the wings are well covered (Griffin/Hunter/Bey/Johnson)..

Maxi/Mcgee/Mavs27 for Capella...

RAPTORS are trying to win, so Bullock would be attractive as a substitute for OG..

Bullock/Hardy/Bertans/#10 for Thad/OG..?..

*in 1 instance I'm looking for Gafford before Capella..younger,cheaper and probably easier to get.. Maxi+SRP for Gafford?
Maxi is a better fit for KP in my opinion...

If the RAPTORS don't move OG...would you agree to send the 10 to Claxton...? either #10 for 20+Mavs29..?

Not one person on this roster should be untouchable, not a single one.

Sad season, the FO botched almost every possible move and it's showing. Miss the playoffs and not have a pick, inexcusable.

Resting Luka so much during b2b, losing to teams like the Wizards and teams without their best players, just clean house.

I assume Luka isn't going anywhere. Don't like Kyrie, but can't let him just walk. Hardy is fine and worth more to the Mavs than anyone else. Say good riddance to everyone else, starting with the shoe guy

Me too. But Cuban gave his vote of confidence to Kidd even before the season ended. He will be back. At least for one more year. Then hopefully Nick Nurse comes on board.

Newly resigned Maxi, together with his recent poor performance, has made him becoming another negative value assets in our roster

Did you see that interview with Lauri Markkanen? Basically transcribed below:

Interviewer: After a career year, you yet again miss the playoffs, how do you feel?

Lauri? What? What you talking about? I take every play off when our team doesn't have ball.

Yeah, the Hawks have already enough depth on the wings, I suggested Bullock cause I read somewhere they were looking to lower their taxes, Reggie makes 10 mln less than Capela and he's an expiring.
I'd prefer to keep Maxi but your idea makes definitely sense cause it gives us more financial flexibility than my trade proposal.

For Claxton? For sure without thinking twice! If he's available this summer he's my #1 target, Ihmo he has the potential to be a perennial DPOY candidate, he's so versatile.

#10 + 2027 DAL 1st + Hardy + Bertans for Claxton + DFS is too rich for us, right?
But look at this depth chart and how good it is:
Claxton / Powell
DFS / Kleber
Green / Bullock
Irving / THJ
Doncic

You're right, OG asking price is likely to be out of our reach but ihmo that's the value of an expiring Anunoby.
Also if he actually wants a bigger role on offense, we have to stay far away from him cause in that case he would never re-sign with the Mavs and we can't afford at all to pay that price for a rental.
I could throw in also a pick swap for Capela but ihmo 2 firsts for him is an overpay.

PG - Kyrie Irving
SG - Patrick Beverly
SF - Luka Doncic
PF - Mathise Thybulle
C - Myles Turner

That lineup should be able to play defense now. Just throw Bullock and Powell away. The defenders added are not superstars by any metric so that look is pretty realistic.

They need to try to get DFS back too. Not only because of his game but also because of his relationship with Luka.

If the Hawks bounce out of the play in, they will make some changes for sure. Something to watch out for.

Capela and Collins would help fix a lot of what is wrong with the Mavs.

ATL traded their whole future for Dejounte. 3.FRPs I believe. Without assets and cap space, and still a bit far from finals contention, I believe changes are in order if they fail this season.

I added Beverly there to make games versus Phoenix extra interesting.

Beverly - CP3
Luka - Booker
KD - Kyrie
