poll: what does Banchero need for 20.0 ppg?

Banchero has played 72 games and scored 1437 points. This means he is at a scoring average of: 19.9583 ppg.
He is 3 points short of a natural 20 PPG. Does it matter?

Poll question: do you personally consider Banchero to be a 20 PPG player right now?

p.s. this is easily resolved by Banchero playing in game 82 and scoring 23 or more points. Bonus question: will he play again this season?

Call me immature, but I’m all in on feeding Banchero a 30 pt final game in a completely irresponsible way. 4 scrubs rebound for him in a loss is ideal outcome…a celebration of our ROY

Yes he is a 20 PPG player.

No he won't and shouldn't play in the finale.

Yeah I think Paolo is a 20ppg guy. The seasons been a little weird and he hit a bit of a wall in February but I think Paolo easily eclipses that mark next season and never looks back. I think Franz should be as well. If I’m the Magic I reward Paolo with a buffet of offense in the final and let him get that 20ppg.

It is 20 ppg, nobody is going to look back 15 years from now and say, "Well, technically it got rounded up!" except Magic fans :lol:

I thought you actually had to average 20.1 to truly be accepted as a 20 point scorer. Just to prove it isn't a fluke.

It's over 19.95. That's why it's rounded up to 20 ppg. He's at 19.958.

Well, it's a personal thing.

I always see ppg etc rounded with one digit after the comma (or dot, in the American way of presenting numbers). So, because of rounding up, in order to be a "20 ppg guy" you effectively need to get to 19,95 points per game, which Paolo has done, I believe (?). But I really can't be bothered to get into a huge debate with anyone who says that Paolo isn't a 20 ppg guy, yet.

edit: yeah specifically he's at 19,95833...etc.

The media is definitely in asterisk mode in discussing Banchero's scoring. All reports I have read call him a "20.0 ppg" player rather than stating he is a 20 pg guy. Funny that even in the thread title this was forecasted. Hmm.

My view is the asterisk view as well. Banchero is NOT a 20 ppg player but he IS a 20.0 ppg player.
