I decided to breakdown NBA All Stars in 4-14 picks the past 10 Drafts

2013 NBA Draft
None (Giannis was 15th)

2014 NBA Draft
7th - Julius Randle
13th - Zach Lavine

2015 NBA Draft
4th - Kristaps
13th - Devin Booker

2016 NBA Draft
7th - Jamal Murray
11th - Sabonis

2017 NBA Draft
5th - De'Aaron Fox
7th - Lauri
13th - Donovan Mitchell
14th - Bam Adebayo

2018 NBA Draft
4th JJ Jr
5th Trae Young
10th - Mikal Bridges (Future All-Star)
11th - Shai Gilgeous
12th - Miles Bridges (Future All-Star if he rejoins league)

2019 NBA Draft
5th - Darius Garland

2020 NBA Draft
12th - Tyrese Halliburton

2021 NBA Draft
4th - Scottie Barnes ( I think he'll get 1 or 2)

So over 10 years there's been about 22 All Stars or future all-stars in 4-14 range

This is a deeper than average draft so I wouldnt be surprised if there was more than 2 All Stars in 4-14 picks. We just gotta hope we get one of them.

Rayan Rupert added to the poll, Taylor Hendricks added to the big board in tier 4.

Same, he's got that Bradley Beal style game. I think he's one of the better shooting guard prospects we've had in the draft in a while.

He has the rep for making tough shots, but that’s because he takes tough shots. Cole used to be that guy, but this year he’s really reined it in. Suggs showed big improvement too. Franz, Fultz, WCJ and Harris all take smart shots with a high probability of going in, even if they give up 3’s for 2’s when they do so. Paolo was given a green light to find his game this season but I suspect he’ll be tasked with better shot selection next season too.

That’s why I see guys like Hendricks, Wallace and Dick being to the top of our board. They’re more likely to take shots within the flow of the game and without forcing it up in low % circumstances. That’s what we’re gonna need if we want to be playoff competitive next season.

A lot of these guys on the board are close.

It's about picking the right one.

I'm not sure George will be that high either.

The top 11 is SET. Good chance we are in a position to draft two of these guys. What did we learn? We would probably prefer one of Walker, Whitmore, Gradey, or Hendricks with our pick and one of Black, George, or Wallace with the Bulls pick. We don't stray far from the 'experts' but that is probably also a product of using the Tankathon big board to populate the poll.
