 This was a fun season. 6th worst record and still won 34 games with all the injuries, not a bad season at all. Hope they get lucky in the lottery, and dont suffer any major injuries in the offseason. With some growth and minor improvements to the roster, top 6 seed next season is possible.

edit: in 2022, 34 wins got you the 9th seed in the lottery.
in 2021, 34 wins got you the 13th seed in the lottery
in 2020, the pandemic shortened the season and I cba doing the math for a 34-win pace.
in 2019, 34 wins got you the 10th seed in the lottery.
in 2018, 34 wins also got you the 10th seed in the lottery.

So yeah, this worked out perfectly.

The Lotto is due for a #6 to get the #1

Actually, that is the gambler's fallacy.

But if you look at the statistics, the most likely result of the lottery is 7th, followed by 8th.

Both outcomes are less likely than a 1-4 pick result.

Wikipedia has a really nice chart on the topic

Whitmore is the exact height and weight as Jimmy Butler.

Great season, 12 games improvement and still 6th best odds, we could have made the playoffs if it wasn't for all the injuries early on which is even more encouraging.
