Between Okogie and Craig, I feel like Torrey has a better chance to slow down Kawhi. He's been more consistent lately on offense too.

Well, it's good that we have two players like that - and they do differ in some ways, so two looks we can throw at Kwahi. We can probably hide somebody on Batum, nowadays he mostly shoots 3s form the corner.

We will have our hands full with their other guards and wings, our bench does not measure up there for sure.

At worst we can throw KD on him if things go south with Okogie and Craig. I don’t think it would, but it’s great having more options as our team has some great defenders.

There is nothing we can do about it but thank Adam Silver for his brilliant play/in idea.

Yea what an awful idea/setup completely unnecessary. Should be starting on Wednesday or Thursday.

The Clippers team the Suns played 2 years ago was better overall than this one.

Kawhi is back yes, but PG will be just coming back, and literally every single player on the Clippers is worse with the exception of Zubac and Powell - and to be fair, while Powell is hot and cold, he can swing games by himself with his ability to get to the FT line - so limiting the fouling, will be key.

And with Zubac, if playoff DA shows up, I think he easily outplays Zubac - if he doesn't show up, then things get dicey.

Sources: Clippers star Paul George is expected to be sidelined to begin the first-round playoff series against the Suns, but is making some tangible progress from his March 21 knee injury.

Well, lets say George is healthy, they are starting Kawhi, Westbrook and Eric Gordon vs that team starting Beverley, Reggie Jackson and Marcus Morris.

They still have Marcus Morris but he's a bench player. They went small and started Terrance Mann a couple times and they also still have him as a bench guy.

Now their bench is Powell, Plumlee, Morris, Batum, Covington, and Bones Hyland vs their old bench of Batum, Kennard, Rondo, Cousin and either Mann or Plumlee (whoever didn't start).

What will kill them is George likely being out. Of course we have KD though instead of a young Bridges, Cam and Jae Crowder. We had Saric then (who played pretty well in that series shooting 44% from 3).

When will we know the game time and when the rest of the games of the series will be played? Is it after the play-ins are done?

Yeah, probably after the play ins. I won't be surprised if our 2nd game isn't until Wed. May be Tuesday though.

Oh, I thought he tweeted the he was expected to be out to begin the first round. Maybe there was an update or I misread though.

But even then, it's hard to know how fast someone gets better. He could miss two rounds if they advance or suddenly feel a lot better. Seem like everyone said Book was out at least two weeks during the Pels series and he came back in less than a week.

I'd really rather we roll through the playoffs vs teams at full strength. Would be a lot better than beating the Clips minus George, Jokic minus (or with a hobbled) Jokic, Grizz without Adams/Clarke, etc. I think we could beat any of them, but definitely shouldn't have a problem at all against any team with injuries to key players.

Well, you are right and I was assuming that he will be out for all the first round.
