Looks like no McDaniels for the playoffs unless we go a very long ways.

According to ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski, Jaden McDaniels has been diagnosed with a fractured right hand.
While the Timberwolves locked up the 8-seed in the West with their comeback win over New Orleans, the victory came at a major cost. McDaniels injured his hand when he punched a wall in frustration toward the end of the first quarter, and X-rays have come back positive, per Wojnarowski's report. The injury makes Taurean Prince a player of added importance, and he would likely move into the starting lineup for Tuesday's game against the Lakers.

looks like team, but that could have been to preempt the league doing something

tough for KAT, Lakers are going to go at him hard on D to get into foul trouble (Lakers #1 in FTA), and then blitz him on offense, make guys like Prince and KA hit jumpers

could see a 4 foul, 5 pt, 11 min first half, and then all the pressure of his previous playoff/play-ins start weighing

I'll be honest: without Naz, Jaden and Rudy it's really hard to go and win at their home...I am not so positive...at this point the "supporting actors" have to make the leap forward..

This game will be a cavalcade of Lakers walking to the free throw line due to flops and phantom calls. With the FTA disparity the Lakers have enjoyed this season, it’s obvious the fix is in and the powers that be are determined to see Lebron make the playoffs.

Man how quickly things turned. I hope the suspension is not an indication the team is going back to the run and gun style of last year. I feel like Ant and others wants to play that way. It's simpler, dumb, and just ball but that is not going to win in playoffs. SlowMo is known to talk s*t, he should be the one to stfub. I hope the organization could get thru to Ant, Towns, and JMcl that basketball is a team game. It's great to see Ant's and JMcl's efforts on both sides of the court but you need to learn how to play with others. Some of you may have noticed Ant said something to Knight that may not be very professional after Knights' poor showing. This team needs to be a professional team and I am starting to wonder if we have to start all over again. All this sh*t is because of two games Bulls and POR.

I know it's bad for wolves' fans but think about this, ALL of the pressure is on LA to actually beat the wolves. Wolves should be able to go in and play loose with nothing to lose since no one expects them to win.

On another note, there was some leaked audio as well associated with the punch and it sounds like this could possibly have been brewing for some time. Seems like there may be some internal issues surrounding Rudy but of course, the apologies and everything just appears to be damage control. Of course everything here is just speculation.

Need TP to have a really good night on both ends, Luka and Nate and probably going to get run and we know they can be instant sparks for us. KAT needs to stay out of foul trouble for us to win, but that's a huge ask.

Either way, we still have a chance friday and I like our chances vs either of those teams...but I really want to see the Wolves play the Grizz again in a rematch

I'm not too worried about the Gobert absence, other than the fact that our post depth is thinning out. But with no Gobert, they won't be able to hide Davis on defense.

Ant always seems to come up big in the biggest games. I will always like having Conley matched up with "No D" Lo. Guys like Kyle and Taurean are just solid. Oh yeah and we have a really good player in Towns.

I'm 99.5% sure the answer is no, unless we waive a guaranteed deal and convert Garza's two-way.

I don't think Davis is ever hid on defense, he's a great defender. He's also going to destroy us, we have no one capable of guarding him. Unless Kat can get him into foul trouble to limit his time on the floor, this game could be ugly. Really need our role players to come out and play hard.

While "hide" may not be the correct term, Davis did spend most of his time 9 days ago guarding Gobert instead of Towns.

While Towns may not defend Davis well either, he will be able to make Davis expend energy on defense.
