Cowboys rumors: Insider predicts Dallas signing Derrick Henry to replace Ezekiel Elliott

I'll just go out on a limb here and say there is less than a 1% chance that happens.

That totally has to be coming out of Henry’s camp. They’re seeing the market for free agent RB’s with a ton a miles and they’re throwing a Hail Mary hoping someone catches it.

In addition, I don't get the sense that is something the Titans are even entertaining the thought of. No doubt the Jags are the new team to beat in that division (although every time I've put any trust in that team they have proven me horribly wrong) but the Titans are still a viable team with a healthy Henry. They aren't going anywhere with Tannehill running that offense on his own.

I would say this year it’s safe to pick the Jags to win that division. They’re the only team with a QB.

I figured this would be appropriate.

Who's the receiver coach? Does he still have a job?? Some really sloppy/poor route running on display.

Good thing you guys picked up Cooks. I think you could definitely look to draft another receiver.

I wonder who paid this guy to dish out all that bull ****. Way too hard on some of those WR's. Even if some of them routes were run a bit crisper, they were still double covered. After 7 years numb nuts should know better. Plus to me I think the guy is half blind. He wants me to not believe what I see with my own eyes.

Yes I've seen that, roughly half of Dak's INTs were on the WRs and half were on Dak. The one against SF where the CB did what Gallup was supposed to do is why Cooks is here. I think even Dak haters understand that a WR can not do that. Gallups career might have ended with that play, he can not be trusted as a target. That was a less obvious example too Dak had INTs straight up bounce off of the WRs chest.

I agree that we could use even ANOTHER WR but the what scares me is that we have no TE now and Schultz was Dak's #2 target after Lamb. I do not know if this offense can flow properly without a legit TE threat.

I saw someone on Twitter point out that if the 2016 Draft were redone today, Dak would not only be the 1st QB taken but it could be argued that he would be taken #1 overall.

The first two picks in that draft were Goff and then Wentz. Redo that now they are taking Dak.

Most notable non-QBs were Bosa (not Nick) and Tyreek Hill who was taken in the 5th. Ramsey and Derrick Henry also but I do not think a CB or RB could go before QB.

At worst Dak gets taken top-5

Serious question. Why do you think Dak is stupid?

He has a Master's degree and is planning to get his doctorate after the NFL. He will be Dr. Prescott.

Did I mention that he sucks and can't handle pressure. He will need a lot of mal practice insurance. If he can't handle the pressure of the NFL, how the hell will he be able to do heart surgery. I wouldn't let Prescott even clip my toe nails.

I wouldn’t say he sucks. His number disprove that however he does have a knack for **** up at the worst possible moment. Very similar to Romo.

Sucks = Choker. Same thing in my book. But you are right about his numbers. He sure racks them up vs. the scrub and bad teams. Just can't beat the elite teams.

Romo was clutch.

He muffed a fg snap.

The TEAM lost.

Or in some cases Dez caught it but the ref made a bad call.

Having a bad game =/= choke btw

You have to blow a lead to choke. Dallas wasn't even the favorite against SF we were the underdogs. They were supposed to win.

A choke job is when Lawrence throws your team 4 picks and you still blow it.

This video shows a couple game where the Cowboys needed a win to clinch the division and instead threw multiple interceptions. He also threw an interception at the end of the playoff loss to the Giants.

The only noteworthy moment in that video is the Skins game which was a must win and basically a playoff game, the rest are regular season games and literally every starting QB that plays for years has those. Also that video ends when Mike is about to break into his "but let's look at the clutch moments..." rant and highlights all the stats that I just posted.

I'll parrot his words too. Romo is not above criticism, no QB is really. He wasn't flawless and he had bad moments. But he also had lots of clutch moments.

You and BJJ need rings to formulate opinions of QBs and lots of fans are like that. Hell lots of analysts are like that. But the reality is that football is a team sport and the final score is the total of what every single player contributed. Hell even one simple TD pass requires much more than just a QB.

I'm not sure about you but I already know that BJJ was the fan running around declaring that the Mavs can never win anything with Dirk and that he never comes through in the post season. And then of course when the Mavs do win (not because of Dirk by himself but because they finally obtained a winning roster) BJJ was celebrating and acting as though he had Dirk's back all along. Because that is what bandwagon fans do. They dog the team every year until the team finally wins and then they jump on the celebration train.

Fact of the matter is both Homo and Numb nuts Don't perform or come through in big games when there is so much on the line. They don't perform against elite teams when the stars shine the brightest or when the playoffs start. The very few clutch moments Romo had was during the regular season with nothing on the line. Neither Dumb Dak or Romo has ever convinced me they had the drive to winning and being the best they could be for their team. Romo was all about the money and playing golf while taking life in stride. Prescott has spent more time studying film the last 7 years and hasn't learned or absorbed a fu....g thing. After a lights out performance by the defense Numb nuts just game the game away on his own like Morton did in Super Bowl V. In my book, that's choking.
Don't know where you are coming from on the Dirk with the Mav's. Been a Celtics fan since I was a kid and could careless about what ever happens to the Mavericks. I've never celebrated anything Mavericks. Another example of how Micah turns and twists things and putting words in other people mouths.

I was already sick to death with Romo before that game. But after that Game Romo was interviewed and he stated that "No matter what happens, the sun will always rise the next day" with a huge smile on his face. That was when he lost me forever as all of us Cowboys fans were still sick to our stomachs after losing 3 straight yeas for the division title and a chance to go to the playoffs.
