Re: 2022-2023 Tickets and Memorabilia Thread
Hi all,
Cannot make Wednesday.
Section 101, Row 13, few seats over from aisle. Offering at $500 for the pair (face)
They are on TM also at the much higher "recommended price" so DM/email technik6ix@hotmail.com if interested so I can pull the listing.

Re: 2022-2023 Tickets and Memorabilia Thread
Have play in seats available in section 308 row 2. It’s a very good upper bowl pair, just one section off mid court.
I’ll sell as a single ($190) or pair ($385). Season seat holder prices.
Please DM me if interested as sometimes I miss replies on the board, but I get notified by email if you DM me. You can also email me at hip2day at yahoo dot com
Thanks!

Re: 2022-2023 Tickets and Memorabilia Thread
For all you season seat holders out there, please complain to your account reps that the play-in game is just over priced. Absurdly overpriced. Re-sale prices started dropping almost a good 5 days before the game which shows the mis-pricing in real-time. MLSE screwed us over and now the true value of this game is about 15-25% lower than what many of us had to pay initially. Genius of them to price these play-in games like a Round 1.

Why didn't people just vote with their wallet and just not buy the play-in tickets at their overpriced face value

At these current prices I'm sure there are going to be a lot of empty seats.

We got a lot of newer season seat holders. We also got folks who made "bank" (good value for cost) on previous playoff runs who don't understand the market dynamics with high inflation and a team that doesn't have the fan interest as seasons past. For some getting play-in seats is a "hedge" in case the Raptors were to advance deep into the playoffs. Loss leader but more potential "value" with the actual playoffs. What annoys me is MLSE mis-priced this so bad its astonishing to me. Why on earth would someone pay Round 1 prices to see a Play-in game where winning it doesn't mean much overall (still got to win another game on the road to advance). Hell yeah, I would love to see this game in person. But not at the SSH price. I ain't paying Boston Celtics type prices on a weekend to watch a play-in game vs the Bulls. Hindsight is 20/20. Many SSH will just need to take a loss or just flat out go to the game for once. They "maple-leafed" us Raptors SSHers. Milking us by charging higher prices than what actual demand dictates. Hopefully this isn't a long term trend. "We talking about play-in???" (famous AI quote, haha)

I was able to sell for what I paid, but I guess we’ll have to take the playin game on the chin in future years if we want seats to the later rounds. Maybe next year I won’t opt in and I’ll just buy resale. The amount of seats available on Ticketmaster right now is quite high. I guess demand for a playin game for 9 vs 10 isn’t that strong.

Re: 2022-2023 Tickets and Memorabilia Thread
Looking at the Ticketmaster seat map and it appears that 25-30% of Scotiabank tickets are for sale, with tip-off a little more than 24 hours away. I've never seen this many seats available.
Having the Jays back in Toronto doesn't help either. Lots of MLSE inventory unsold as well. So this won't be a sellout.
My old centre court seasons are now part of MLSE's ticket inventory. They were listed at $715 each and now dropped to $652 each. Still no takers.

It warms my heart to see supply demand in action.
Organization can be defined as an organized body of people with a particular purpose. Not random.

Hardly dirt cheap. That's probably what upper bowls should have started at for a game that isn't even a playoff game lol. Hope you get a pair!

Prices seem to have dropped overnight. I’m confident that I’ll get a pair for that price by mid afternoon today.

I see some in the corners way high for a pair around $240 including fees.
Mine are 321 mid-court row 12, best purples in the building. Letting them go for $280.
