yeah everyone knows that the heat has this one in the bag.

i was talking to a relative earlier and we both agreed that the play in is stupid. people in the 7th seed should be already be locked in unless there's a two or 3 way tie. i only see this as the owners to try to cash in before the post season starts. as it stands it doesnt make sense

Gives more teams hope which is more like false hope.

If the 10th seed ever advances and makes it into the 1st round of the playoffs, it's a virtual certainty that in a 7 game series format, the number 1 seed will prevail over the 10th seed.

If the NBA were really serious about adding parody to the playoffs, they would have to figure out a way to involve a single game elimation model or something that somewhat resembling one.

I think you'll see that sort of line from Adebayo before you'd see it from Butler.

That said, I would have gone with "inb4 Herro, Lowry, Vincent, and Strus combine to go 7-30 on 3s in a 108-95 loss".

Clear travel and then phantom call for Hunter. Was hoping that meant Herro gets the same ref love through the game....nope. Bumped and no call.
Then a bump call against Strus on the other end.

Kind of already see the way this game is gonna go unfortunately. Might save myself the trouble of watching it all the way through.

We’re 5 minutes in and Bam has 1 shot, on his only touch of the game so far, against a team he’s dominated all season. Guess Spo dug out last playoffs playbook. It is what it is I suppose, we’ll see how this trends as the game goes on.
