Grand scheme this is what this team needs, it’s what they’ve needed since the summer when we made 0 moves while everyone else got better and then for sure again when we sat on our hands at the deadline.

Then a 3rd time when we thought bringing in a washed PF that’s only good at occasional outlet passes and a C in Zeller who was out of the league would save our season.

We need these losses and we need to get throttled on Friday, we didn’t need to get Boston and magically push it to 7 games so when Boston gets back to the finals the FO can say we nearly beat the EC champs and we’re banking on internal development from 10 undrafted guys next season.

We’re coming off a 3 year stretch where we were 1 shot away from 2 nba finals. I’m not giving up on this build until I see legit talent around Jimmy and Bam. Getting smoked and putting the pressure on the front office and having the 14th pick as opposed to the 20th as a trade asset this summer is a solid start

I'm actually putting this on Jimmy more than anything. Bam was dog **** but I honestly don't expect much from him, especially on offense. But Jimmy was just abysmal. If he showed up, we win this with the way Lowry played and Herro playing well too.

Jimmy has been this way all season. He has played like he doesn’t care. Like he can flip a switch and dominate, reality hit him like a brick wall. All season people were making every excuse for him with the illusion that Jimmy Buckets would show up, that playoff Jimmy would dominate.

He coasted for 50+ games to be healthy for the playoffs which in return landed us in the play in tourney and tonight is the result we got from it. It’s a shame but would be much more understandable if there were more than 3-4 nba level players on this team

On the bright side, perhaps Lowry increased his trade value. Get 14, pray for a better pick and trade for help.

I'm all for the tank now tbh. Matching up against the Celtics in the first round gave me a sliver of hope that we could extend the series and, if things bounced our way, potentially come out on top. Jaylen Brown is injured too, which would have improved our chances.

Now, we'll have no choice but to face the Bucks - who will make minced meat out of us and probably win it in 4, if not 5 games max. We matched up well against the C's.. but matchup piss-poor against Milwaukee.

Throw in the towel. Let UD start and take 30 shots as a final send off.
