Pretty much as you would expect but a cool breakdown.

Sent from my SM-G986U using RealGM mobile app

This tracks, I'd basically never spend a 1st on a IOL, RB, TE, or Off ball LB

More Top 30 visits:

Lew Nichols
Sean Clifford
Tyrique Stevenson

Stevenson would fit the STAR position nicely in Barry's Scheme.

Bill Barnwell hasn't seen my Madden team. The Packers need to triple dip at TE the first 2 Rounds. And fill out the draft with 4 more TE's after that. Then we will have a 6th OL (apparently we are cutting all backup OL) and Love won't fall over dead (allegedly).

I was wondering when Simms was going to say something interesting. Anderson Jr. as the 5th best edge is, uh, something.

I'm glad he has Will McDonald in his top 5. He's one of the Edges I've been starting to really become enamored with leading up to the draft. Only started playing football his junior year and was already setting school records, so the untapped potential is off the charts, especially if he goes to a team that will let him stand up and rush.

If there's a position you should avoid drafting in the 1st round of this class, it's probably WR.

https://www.cbssports.com/nfl/news/2023-nfl-draft-rumors-numerous-teams-have-just-one-receiver-with-a-first-round-grade/

Nagy says in having calls around the league over the past couple weeks, he's gleaned that the NFL overall isn't nearly as high on this year's wide receiver class as the media is. While there are four or five or even six wideouts going in the first round in most mock drafts, Nagy says he's spoken to numerous NFL teams that have just one prospect with a first-round grade. That player is Smith-Njigba.

The WR class is weak. No doubt about that. And if you disregard 5'-9" 170lb guys, it's even weaker yet. So who is the next James Jones ? That's the million dollar question. I think Waston, Doubs, Toure, and Melton are usable pieces, obviously some more usable than others. Also a very good bet that a usable veteran is brought in. That's 5 guys. Need to find 2 more. I expect 2 draft picks and a ton of UDFA brought in. Also a great place to use some of the (4) 7th Rounders. Watson and Doubs are gonna need to stay healthy.

The Packers were 27th in sacks, Rashan Gary's return may be Week 10 and Preston Smith turns 31 this year. Edge at #15 is a real possibility, if not a necessity.

Hoping for 4 QB's, 1 RB, 2 WR, 2 CB, and Jalen Carter to come off the board before #15. That's gonna push a premium position into our lap.

Top 30 visit guy. Remember, last year Gute drafted 6 guys from this list and acquired 2 more during the season.
He may have a little something something as a mid to later round pick

Check out some of his route running here. Sinks his hips well and even has the hop step ala Adams on a few plays

As I'm going through my pre draft rankings one guy I keep coming back to and curious why he hasn't been talked about more with Green Bay is Broderick Jones. As a redshirt sophomore he didn't allow a single sack or have a holding call against him in the SEC, he will be 22 in May so he's young and he scored a 9.59 RAS so he's a really good athlete. This dude feels like he could lock down Love's blindside for the next decade

I'd love him at #15. There's going to be a great crop of players to choose from if the QBs go early or there's a surprise or two.

I'd be pretty happy with any of these guys at #15:

Paris Johnson Jr
Broderick Jones
Lukas Van Ness
Darnell Wright
Will McDonald IV
Devon Witherspoon
Christian Gonzales
Jaxson Smith-Njigba
Myles Murphey
Calijah Kancey
Joey Porter Jr.

I could maybe be talked into Nolan Smith... and Skoronski seems okay, but he has short arms, but so did Zach Tom and Rashawn Slater and that didn't stop them from playing well at the next level.

Out of the guys you've listed I'd be happy with all but two of them. I currently have Kancey 35th & McDonald 64th so I'm really low on those two compared to the consensus, especially McDonald. Everyone else you listed I have in my top 15

McDonald is definitely a project but I love his physical profile and length. Looking at him purely as a stand-up rusher, his metrics and pass rush win rate balloon vs hand in dirt. Pin his ears back and let him get to work.
