I think these are the scenarios:

Raptors lose to the Bulls, Bulls lose in round 2, OKC loses in play-in: Get the 13th pick.
Raptors lose to the Bulls, Bulls beat Miami in round 2, OKC loses in play-in: Get the 12th pick.
Raptors lose to the Bulls, Bulls beat Atlanta in round 2, OKC loses in play-in: Get coin flip for 12th/13th with Atlanta.

Raptors lose to the Bulls, Bulls lose in round 2, OKC wins play-in: Get the 12th pick.

I remember someone posted it.

There is a chance we get the 17th pick too.

Atlanta moves on, but we have the same record. So if Toronto wins and makes it too, they will have the same record as Atlanta which will mean a coin flip to decide 15 and 16.

If OKC also makes it, they bump both teams and get the 15th pick. So the Raps/Hawks will be flipping a coin for 16/17.

For the draft, the best case scenario is if OKC and Chicago make it.. then we will fall back to 11th with these rankings:

11 - Toronto
12 - New Orleans/Minnesota
13 - Minnesota/New Orleans
14 - Miami
15 - OKC/Chicago
16 - Chicago/OKC
17 - Atlanta

Cissoko will be better 5 years from now. I didn't know he was playing as a PG in a Spanish league. Scoot as good as he is, he's still a small guard and the NBA is moving away from that very quickly. I see Miller ending up going 2nd.

Basically Cissoko should go top 10.

:reporter: Nice find. Cason, Hendricks, Cissoko, let's gooooooo!

Cissoko is easily the pick if he's there for us. He handled Champagnie's defense very well in their match up. Cissoko was a PG before getting his growth spurt 2 years ago. He had a 14% AST% on 2:1 AST/TO ratio. He wasn't even the primary ball handler either. Incredible player that we likely have in our top 5. I could see a team reaching for him. 6'8 with PG skills and defense, great shooting form.

Shot selection hurt his %'s, but his form is good and he didn't chuck it outside the flow of the offense, he was just shooting from way beyond the NBA 3 point line as long as it was in rhythm. Would be cool to see how many he hit within half a foot of the arc. My guess is that he'd be shooting closer to 35% from NBA 3. I don't see him shooting 40% because his FT% isn't great, but I don't see why he can't work on his shooting like OG did. Cissoko looks like he has smoother mechanics.

True. Dude is sturdy even as a smaller guard.

Sissoko as a 6'6" point god...maybe still growing has the tools.

Crazy how guards now are essentially small forwards and power forwards of yesteryear.

The mechanics look great, and he is very fluid. I don't buy that his wingspan is only 6'9 and it looks like he's in the 220-230lbs range too. The fact he can manage to beat guards off the dribble when they go under the screen is insane. The game against Champagnie showed he can deal with NBA level defenders and just bully them.

He's a goddamn freight train in the lane. He looks like a top ten pick. We need to tank the Bulls game.

I think Scoot's career may be like John Wall. Maybe around 8 apg instead of 10.

Cissoko may be in between Luol Deng and Boris Diaw.

I would say he's at least 6'7 like OG as he can 1 step dunk from standstill, unless he has mad hops.

@ 0:56 makes it looks so smooth and his demeanor is business as usual.

Why would anyone take either Thompson over Cissoko? I'm sure Cassius Stanley and Kendall Brown(who I was mesmerized by their dunking) is as athletic as the Thompsons.

ESPN just dropped a new mock draft. Has us getting Keyonte George at 13. Would be happy with that

I’m not opposed to taking George, but passing on Cason Wallace for him might cause me a little bit of anxiety.

Nothing really stands out for George, there aren't outlier stats for Wallace either, but it's much better than George and there aren't any red flags either with Wallace.

Guys I would he happy with:
Wallace, Hendricks, Cissoko, Podz, Dick.

Guys I'm okay with: J.Walker, Lively? we don't need another defensive C though.
Maybe Coulibaly

Don't like much else of the guys not going top 4.

I dont think Hendricks will be available at 13-14, but he's a no brainer, imo. Makes moving off of Siakam and/or OG a lot easier as well

6'9 defensive forward, capable of defending at the rim AND shoots 39% from 3. Im surprised most mocks dont have him squarely in the top 8. He seems like the exact archetype that teams today covet

Haven't seen much of Hendricks, but teams prioritize half court shot creating ability in the top of the lottery. And for good reason.

I’m also pretty interested in Rayan Rupert. Seems like the prototypical modern wing

France is producing so many NBA prospects right now it’s insane. Next year too with Zaccharie Risacher and Ilane Fibleiul (love his potential)

Other than a few inches of wingspan I can't see why he's ranked higher than Cissoko. Cissoko looks bigger and more powerful but Rupert looks like he's NBA ready on defense. They both were PG's before growth spurts which makes them intriguing but Cissoko's FTr shows he's not afraid of playing against NBA size. Rupert looks like he rather settle for floaters than invite contact on his drives. That's a big reason I would go for Cissoko.

Some of the worst passes I have seen all year have come from Keyonte George.

You would routinely see him pile up turnovers and not because he got his pocket picked but he would try to make passes that made no sense and left you scratching your head.

Shot 3-19 in the tournament.

I think George will be the Reddish of this draft. He will be drafted higher than he should be and he will bounce around from team to team because of "potential"

Even if George were theoretically going to end up Russell Westbrook-lite I would say no as you don't win with that kind of player. Not impressed with the passing skills. You like his ability to get to the hoop and draw contact but there is too much lacking in terms of court vision and shot selection/making for me to be impressed.

Look at the play at 0:22 mark. I'm not going to go through all his clips to find them but those were the kinds of passes I saw all year way too often.

Return to Toronto Raptors
