I love the play in, makes for good TV and after a long ass season the week off is a good reward for the teams who avoid it.

Yeah I don't think Perk and KD are exactly buddies.

I, for one, am hoping for a victory by the mighty Phoenix Suns.

I believe Craig fits much better in the S5 and then Okogie, who is better suited to create his own shots, is a better player for the second unit.

Craig can give more consistency to our defense and rebounding while defending PFs and SFs alike, while Okogie is really small to pair with some type of forwards (for God's sake, he is 6-4 at best and cannot defend SFs who are 6-6/6-7/6-8.

Paul
Booker
KD
Craig
Ayton
-----------
Payne
Ross
Okogie
Bazley/Warren
Landale/Biyombo

The series are going to be really tough. Probably more difficult than a second or even third round against the likes of the Grizzlies or the Nuggets.
If George comes back for game 3-4 and we are 1-1, then they have all the tools to stop our stars. Kawhi and George are very good two-way players who can defend KD and Booker and then cause them a lot of trouble on the other side, although Booker and KD are tough defenders also.

Important things will be:

- Plumlee as a bench player, who is much better than any of our bench bigs.
- Mann, Hyland, Batum, Powell... a very good bench against our much poorer bench with Shamet, Payne, Ross, Landale, Bazley, Okogie, Warren...

I'm close to giving Craig the nod with the starters. The less offensive decisions he has to make, the better. And his hustle/grit has been really good lately. And probably a more dependable shooter than Okogie.

But I think they start Okogie throughout the playoffs because he's more switchable, he can guard 1-4. And a more disruptive defender.

But Craig should be the first dude off the bench for KD, a perfect backup 3/4.

If we get 80% of this DA in the playoffs, it's over.

What if we get 65% of DA from 2021 and 35% of Payne from 21?

Well, I’m actually thinking about it not done yet. I build my account nicely over past half a year so 70 bucks won’t hurt much financially. I also placed 30 to win 270 on Suns/Celtics finals which I feel is a good possibility of happening. I might place a lower wager on clippers but prefer never to bet against my team.

Weird no one picked us in 5. I always find it curious that so many default to 6 even if it's the HCA team, meaning they'd win it on the road. That would mean they either dropped one at home, or both already on the road, and then won game 6 on the road. I know people probably think 5 seems a bit too much of a blowout and 7 too close, but I wonder how often a series goes 6 games and the team on the road in that game wins it.

6 is a safe pick. 7 is basically a moral victory for the Clips so can't go with that. 5 is kind of ambitious although not unexpected.

7 is a moral victory for the Clips? Not sure about that. I don't think the team losing in 7 considers it a moral victory. I certainly didn't feel that way vs Dallas.

Yes, 6 is kind of just throwing out a number that seems fair even though most teams win on their home floor, and our road record isn't good (though I guess good with KD even though we didn't really play anyone).

I think if healthy, we should be able to do 5. I don't think it's that ambitious of a pick. If George was healthy I'd say 7.

If there is a game 6 and George is back by then, and is near 100%, I wouldn't assume we'd win that one.
