Re: Playoffs!?
Somehow, the Raptors losing because a kid screaming made them miss FTs sound like the most Raptors thing possible.

This Zion hamstring stuff sounds toxic as hell.

I don't feel the least bit bad for the Raptors.

Re: Playoffs!?
Didn't realize how bad Dort was at the rim. Haven't watched much of him since ASU, but he was a concerning prospect back then. I'm surprised how much of an effect he's having on this game. Super aggressive and drawing fouls constantly. Feel like that was the game plan because the Pelicans were going to let SGA shoot from outside.
Side note, Zion playing would have waxed the Thunder.

Shai the real Maple Jordan. Remember when some on this board thought we could get him for a doofus, primadonna role player last year? Dude is the closest thing to early Jordan in the league right now.

Re: Playoffs!?
Giddey is a nice game manager (a la Tobias), but dude shouldn't dribble the ball down the stretch. In fact, no one on the Thunder should be handling the ball a the end of the game other than SGA and Jalen Williams. Everyone else is making horrendous decisions.
It's also interesting to see the Pelicans double SGA. It makes sense when it happens to Embiid because he's in the post and a mediocre dribbler/sometimes shaky passer under pressure, but SGA feels silly on the perimeter. It's working down the stretch, so I guess it's smart; but it feels more like the Thunder blowing it than a smart defensive play.

He’s probably my favorite player in the league. Completely unique playing style & he’s unguardable 1v1. I hope the Thunder develop or find some shooters because it’s a crime to not give this man some good spacing. My way too early prediction is that Thunder are a top 4 seed next year & SGA wins MVP.

Still the most inconceivable drop I've seen in a draft in recent memory. 6'6 two way PG who took over the entire offense for Calipari's UK, a pretty unprecedented feat. At minimum, he should have been ahead of Knox and Sexton.

Truth. There's no point being upset about not picking SGA because it would have been 100 times worse to have drafted then traded him for Tobias.

SGA refused to work out for or interview with anyone but the Clippers and in the prior draft the #1 pick forgot how to shoot.
I do wonder if the Fultz thing hadn’t just happened if a team would have taken him sooner.

He reminds me more of Penny play wise than early Jordan

Re: Playoffs!?
Seeing these games i feel vindicated about not caring for the Heat, their spacing is pathetic, which makes Butler ineffective in offense.

Watching Billy ride Beverly late in the game instead of the hot hand in Colby makes me uneasy about Doc & PJ Tucker. Drummond clearly should have played more minutes too. Just some bizarre late game lineups overall. Zach shat the bed but better coaching still could have won that game, me thinks

Cleveland > Milwaukee.
All we gotta do is take Boston out in the 2nd round...
