Drafting Dick makes it much easier to say goodbye to GTJ, plus the bonus of selling awesome Raptors jerseys.

If we draft Gradey I’m buying a Dick jersey day 1

I wouldn't say by bringing in a SG in Gradey would mean that we have to say goodbye to the only natural SG on our roster. GTJ and Gradey can function on a team together. There's enough bench minutes for a guard, especially when/if we say goodbye to Fred.

GTJ will not be brought back if club can help it as he is not worth anywhere near 20 mil. The only way he returns is if he opts in. Even then, he could be dealt. Draft pick does not necessarily have to be a guard though that seems most likely. Guards can be obtained in other ways if not drafted.

We'd have to get an extra pick to take him but I see zero chance (short of health) that Keyontae Johnson isn't an NBA player. I don't think he'll be a star, but he pretty much does everything you need on a basketball floor and he's a good locker room guy.

He plays a man's game. Looks like legit NBA bench piece.

Going to be solid in the NBA for 8+ years

Dude was 23, put up a 5.7 bpm, had very few assists, and more turnovers than assists. Also, very few steals and stocks suggests he is a really bad defender.

I wouldn't bother signing him as a udfa.

That’s your opinion. We also seem to disagree on Scoot. It’s okay, it happens.

Yup. Not going to be a star, but he's a solid rotation piece for a long time.
