I really have no idea what to expect from Denver. It wouldn’t be shocked if they smack the Wolves around and this is over in 4 or 5 games, I also wouldn’t be shocked if this is an extremely close 7 game series. Very eager to see them play.

Wolfies need best version of Kat to have a chance, Joker is just too good. That said, having two 7 foot bodies to rotate on Joker, Antman and very solid vets in Conley, SloMo & Prince should make it at least interesting. Naw looks good too. They need either Nowell or Rivers to step up.

They need the best version of pretty much all of their players to win.

Defensively I'm guessing the Nuggets matchup up like this:

Jokic - Gobert
Gordon - Towns
MPJ - Walker
KCP - Edwards
Murray - Conley

The Nuggets can throw KCP, Gordon and Brown at Edwards. That is a lot. Wolvees fans should be excited cause I feel as though this is the series where Edwards will learn to play against basically every kind of wing defender. It will show him what to work on in the summer in order to come stronger.

The Wolves need to capitalize on the 8-10 minutes Jokic isn’t on the floor. Play smart and keep morale high

I think Denver has been playing possums coasting the last 4 weeks of regular seasons

Minnesota if they had mcdandiels had a better chance. But I still think Denver wins series in 5 regardless.

The real issue is Gobert and towns on floor at the same time with Denver. Jokic can play center field on defense with Gobert a non factor and Jokic can actually act like a rim protector sagging in even more. Packing the paint.

So you got elite Jokic on offense already. And elite Jokic on defense with Gobert ineffective outside of 5 foot from the rim on offense.

And running off misses with Jokic setting up teammates...

If NAW start, he will probably go on murray.

But they will probably go back to they're usual starting lineup with Kyle Anderson (and it's him who will defend on MPJ)

Gobert wont guard Jokic that much. It will be Towns most of the time. In the regular season Finch never had Gobert on Jokic for prolonged time, here and there but mostly not guarding Jokic.

I would’ve been very tempted to make the upset pick if Minnesota had McDaniels and Naz Reid. Still probably would’ve sided with Denver in 6, maybe 7, but upset being a possibility. Just hate that so many of these series are being hurt by key injuries before they even start.

Without them I think it’s one of those highly competitive 5 game series where several of the games are close but Denver pulls away at the end.
