As long as Cheats not picking in a lottery, I'm happy. Their last lottery 5 picks from lottery -> Herro, Bam, Winslow, Beasley and Wade.

Heat have a great scouting system which results in excellent players. Nothing we can do about it besides to tip our hat off to them.

Lol at the “The Sixers are scared of Miami” fans. That didn’t age well.

I don't know what the hell Davis was thinking. At the very least, a huge guy like him should understand that if you're going for a flying block, you have to take an angle and/or reach so as not to foul.

Somehow he managed to disregard all that, as well as turn and back right in to Conley while shot-watching.

What's worse, Lakers fans were saying he pulled pretty much the same bonehead move earlier in the month.

Ingram and SGA will make my top ten this year. We need to find a way to get Ingram here as soon as opportunity will come.

It's a classic trap. Most players probably play with some level of nagging injury, but for others, it's serious enough to create a noticeable dip in productivity & efficiency. Yet a lot of them still choose to slog through it, especially if their performance is an overall plus.

Then of course the body of fans, being the all-around experts that they are, loudly declare that the player is "washed," or has "psychological problems," or whatever narrative their limited creativity can cook up, rarely ever being curious about what might actually be wrong with a player physically to cause such a change.

Fans are predictably clowning Simmons when they should be doing the reverse based on facts & reality. Because the long recovery time from disc surgery is a real thing, and I think few players would be willing to put themselves out there in such a compromised state as Ben has. On the contrary, he probably could have said 'no, I'm not playing again until I'm at least 80%' or so. He could have collected his loot and lived up the rich, bachelor life instead of putting himself on the court, and nobody would have been able to say anything.

I actually don't like the guy's game all that much, most of it based on how he went about trying to be a lefty shooter in an era in which shooting is king. But that's a different issue, and doesn't mean I don't want the guy to get a fair chance, or be recognised for being willing to step on the court in such a reduced state.

At least he kept himself in terrific shape during this whole ordeal.
Does Zion have the willpower that Ben has shown in these matters? I don't know.

You told no lie, 10000% agree. Alot of people expose themselves of never having an injury or playing a sport period. One guy tried to tell me it was Bens mental health thats making him jump like nenad kristic like his choosing to do this smfh. I doubt Zion gets this hate untill media gives it that push. Ive never seen this someone whos injury prone then gets fat instead of making sure his ready to get back on the court.

OMG, I loved Nenad!

I mean, he rolled in as just a... 'European goof,' sorta, y'know?
That was the RJ-Kidd-VC, era, right?

Nenad kicked booty, seriously!

I don't really blame Marks for overshooting... haha, the mark, but say what you want about Jason Kidd, he was a *fabulous* conductor of talent, and made so many other players shine.

Krstc was a *really cool* stretch big, when Dirk was just kinda introducing that game.
Or at least, that's how I remember him..?

Anyone who wants the Nets to trade for Zach Lavine needs to watch tape of last night's game. He was horrible

He'd help and improve the team, but in my opinion, he's like Lillard in that he won't put us in the Boston/Milwaukee tier. You can't blow a whole bunch of assets to just be in the mix for a 4 seed. Get back old Simmons or sign a '25 max guy and then blow the assets for a second or third tier star.

I mean, if the refs are universally gonna let Draymond curse, taunt, get in peoples' faces, kick players in the balls, and yes... sit on people in order to keep them out of the play:

Could they at least show some consistency by designating *one* official thug player per team?

Just look at the trailing ref there, staring right at Green gaming Sabonis.
"Yep, nothing to see here.."
