I'll take construction noise over bike chop shops setting up outside my apartment all day, amazing how they come back like birds migrating after the first few nice days of spring.

Blatant too, cops don't care though so if I was in there shoes I wouldn't hide it either.
Inadequate perception I reckon it's from the Valium

Fell in love with Campari Spritzes (or Aperol, if you prefer sweeter) when in England last fall. They were everywhere. Recreating here now as it feels like a great spring/summer, out-on-the-porch drink. Tried it with the traditional Italian garnishes for the first time - orange slice and green olives. Sounds so weird, but it really works nicely. I know some people do this with Wisconsin Old Fashioneds too; I never understood it, but do now. I mean, I don't know why I understand it, but I do.

Got some steps in on the golf course today. Really is one of the funnest ways to exercise for me. Also if you go as a single a lot of the time you get paired up with another group and it’s fun to get out of your comfort zone a bit. I’m burnt, sore, and ready for bed but it was a good time lol

Was in the car with my family for 9 hours today. On a whim, downloaded and played “Pistol” by Mark Kriegel (a really well researched and written biography of Pete Maravich). My 8th grader, who I was targeting, could not have been more bored. My wife, who usually sleeps on car rides and in general is a team sports hater, was captivated. My 5th grader (tallest kid in his school) got home and youtubed Pistol Pete highlights.

I totally forgot Press Maravich (dad) was a Serb. Man that country has an incredible basketball legacy.

I think Pete is probably not a top 50 nba player of all time. But he is top 100 for sure, and absolutely has a top 10 most captivating basketball life story. My absolute favorite thing about Pete, is his childhood. Varsity starter as a 8th grader, scrimmaged his dad’s college players as a high schooler, won a bet by spinning a ball on his finger for 1 hour, reportedly did crossovers while riding a bike… maybe the childhood everyone on this board wanted :)

Also a very British thing, my brother swears by jugs of Pimm's and lemonade as that spring/summer, out-on-the-porch drink. He goes with what I believe is the standard ratio (1:3 Pimm's to lemonade) plus some cucumber and segments of whatever citrus he has lying around. He swears the trick is using nice lemonade, if he can't get something good he goes with a lemon barley cordial/soda water and uses only lemon/lime as the citrus and throws in a handful of mint (probably my fave).

Great for being able to have a few tall glasses and only slightly starting to get a buzz (Pimm's is 25%).

We call that a Pimm's cup. They're great! I don't keep Pimm's on hand, but that sounds good now and I may have to pick some up.

Do you or anyone here have some clubs they like? I've been using my Mizuno forged for about 15 years but I'm interested in newer tech.

When I was at my healthiest I was golfing almost every day. Think I'm gonna join a club and play nights after work.

Can’t speak on newer stuff really, but I’ve always been a giant Ping guy. G series used to be a little more on the beginner-intermediate level(slightly bigger clubface) but I’ve been using the I series since 2010 or so lol. Drivers are kinda nuts now I should invest in one lol. Another reason I like Ping is they have different lengths for different body types.

If you're looking for something to do to kill time before the game today, and enjoy Ultimate Frisbee, the Milwaukee Monarchs are playing the DC Shadow live on the youtube.

These are semi-pro women's ultimate teams. DC is stacked, but hopefully the Monarchs can give them a game.

I've read a few things about the rivers already being fairly high for spring and it looks like warm weather is to follow. Will be interesting to watch.

Yep, we're in a river flooding warning. The Mississippi. It should be fine, but not so certain about smaller rivers with less embankment.

Just venting. We cancelled our trip to FL in November because my daughter got the stomach flu. Rescheduled to this week. Flight down was actually easy as hell. First evening my daughter seemed to love the ocean and beach. Then at about 7pm that first night a fever kicked in and it hasn’t left. So far the trip has been spent in bed and getting almost no sleep. Haven’t gone outside at all. I’m about ready to quit trying with small children.

I like Taylor Made the best, just feel like they are quality and really last a long time. They are a bit more expensive, but as I get older I realize every day that you get what you pay for.

I feel like if you go to last year's models you can still get them new but save money as well.
