I hope he heals up and gets right.

How many more fluky injuries will it take for us to call him frail and injury prone.

We gave him that contract, but he has yet to prove he can be a guy we can count on in the playoffs.
He showed us he can be a six man for sure, but were not paying him six man money, he is getting starter all-star money.

It sucks but it is what it is I guess, he’s clearly injury prone and they’re coming at the worst possible times.

Too easy!

Game 1:

Brook when defended by Bam: 0-1

Bam when defended by Brook: 9-17

Brook held Miami Heat players to an abysmal 17-32 from the field. Bam held the Bucks to 6-15 shooting.

They were saying Bam wasn’t playing defense last night and Brook was still his father, 1 of these guys is a DPOY finalist

The narrative on Twitter today is to try and ban charges going forward now that Giannis hurt his back

Do you have "Display signatures" turned off? Are you aware that you have this in your signature?

I told him to fix it. Super cringey to look at.

If the role players can play like this then the Heat have a chance to win any series. That was 4 role players that played well in Martin, Strus, Vincent and Love.

Someone's trading for Herro without seeing him perform after a broken hand coupled with him on his new big money contract? If Miami can go deep enough to let Herro get back on the court sure, he can put GMs minds to rest about the injury but that's unlikely to happen.

I figured as much. He won't be a 100 so Heat have a chance to steal another one, which they should. The longer this series goes the more time has to recover and less chance Heat will win the series.
I don't know what Spo game plan will be. But I'd have Giannis work on defense. I'd start Love and run some action with him and Bam to either get Bam to attack Giannis or make Giannis close out of Love. But whether it works or not, Bam has to go after Giannis to tire him out and test his back. Don't care if Bam goes 2- 20 as long as its on Giannis and we make him work. Even if we loose, if Giannis has over extend himself in game 2 then we are in great shape for 3 and 4

I care if he goes 2-20, you can make him work without shooting horribly. If he's on Butler or Bam, they can attack the basket having Giannis work to stay with them and then kick it out to a 3pt shooter. Giannis may be on Butler a bunch, if so try to get him in foul trouble attacking the hoop but expect to pass out if he doesn't bite on a shot fake.

What should keep happening is Bam getting the ball at the elbow and not even considering looking at the hoop, at least make the defender think he should be worried about you instead of figuring out where the play is going and being better prepared to move into position.

There are going to be a lot of Bam DHOs going forward without Herro imo although I’m also hoping to see Bam and Jimmy getting 20+ shots a game.

Brook plays so far back in drop that we have to get those guys like Strus Duncan and hopefully Dipo going off some DHOs. If Brook and the Bucks adjust and start stepping up higher on the DHO I’m praying whoever the perimeter guy is can hit Bam with a simple pocket pass so he can blow by Brook and get to the rim for an easy bucket or if the defense collapses then a simple kick out to the corners. Guys have to knock down their open looks.

I can see Brook being schemed off the court in this series

Its only a broken bone. It's not a torn ligament. GMs know what Herro is and isn't at this point.

Return to Miami Heat
