Really good win. You could see at halftime, down only 5 having played like garbage, that the dam would inevitably break.

Very impressed by Embiid's maturity, doubled every possession but never forced it, didn't lose his cool, passed well and let the game come to him, and dominated defensively and on the boards. One of his most impressive lower scoring games.

Maxey is the real x-factor for our chances to really make noise this off-season. If he can give us games like this when Embiid and Harden aren't clicking, this team will be very difficult to beat.

Embiid got 8 TOs, 2 of them in garbage. Most of it in the first half. Looking by that stats you’ll get the impression that doubling Embiid is working, and Sixers wants teams to double Embiid.

Whoever Seth is guarding is in the paint, Seth is too small to help. And if Seth comes to double, McDaniel will cut to the paint.

That's literally the only play in which McDaniels is in the dunker and is because the entire left side is occupied and he's moving to the dunker so Embiid cannot be doubled on the top.

Mcdaniels was in the corner 5 straight possessions and Seth was hiding guarding him, the doubles on Embiid came from the other side of the key

Thats why I think a double big unit may work, think of McDaniels as Reed instead.

For now, I understand what they’re doing. Because we have the right balance of defense and shooting right now.

But let’s say Tatum or KD gets hot. I’d expect us to play McDaniels-Biid with McDaniels cutting to the paint once Biid catches from the elbow
