Can't start slow in LA, and we can't be satisfied with only 1 win.
SHAZAM!

Suns traded Mikal Bridges, Cam Johnson, Jae Crowder and 4 1st round picks and a swap so some Vegas Bookies would like us.

The only thing worse than Denver's defense is the Wolves offense.

Followed by Suns bench play, followed by Draymond’s dirty antics, followed by Harden chocking in the playoffs, followed by Lakers aren’t true contenders.

Resigning Okogie not a concern anymore. What about Craig ?

Also hope Payne is gone in the offseason. Super annoyed by his injuries and inconsistent play.

I still think for the most part the Suns are playing awesome defense on Kawhi, he’s just unbelievable right now.

Craig has really saved our ass. The Clippers are daring him to shoot and he’s making them pay. Good on Monty to start him in this series.

I’ll be the one to say it but I’m not sure the Suns win that game today without KD. He’s a big reason why Booker killed them in the 2nd half. Put Booker on the opposite of the court, double KD, leaves Book open for an easy shot or make the right play. Without KD, Book would be the one being trapped and doubled and I’m not sure how that would have gone.

Good win, started off rocky but then the Suns remembered they have KD and Devin Booker. Westbrook has also been awesome but I’m not buying that stock yet. Hoping he continues to shoot.

Playoff Kawhi is a different beast to the regular season Kawhi who's mostly coasting and saving his energy.

Not as much of a high flyer as MJ but his footwork, mid range shots and even the dunks where he just palms the ball in is like nothing I've seen from any other player outside of MJ. Also the guy is just strong AF. Legs and core are like concrete and his base is just ridiculous.

We have to figure out the bench. My concern is I don’t trust any of those guys to produce. I don’t think Monty does either. Love how Monty staggered the big four this game. Whatever it takes to win, do it.

The Suns do not play fast, so I’m not too concerned with our best players playing heavy minutes, with also considering Book, KD and CP3 can take turns running the offense. I don’t think either Suns players really carries the load like Kawhi does. KD makes everything so much easier.

Problem with the bench is its just not very good. Alot of streaky shooters who will be either hot or cold and we have no reliable ball handler/initiator off the bench with Payne out. I think the bench performance will improve if we can get Payne back. He at least drives the ball

We are gonna need both and hopefully we can afford them.

Okogie's value can increase quickly in the next few games. He played very well in his 15 minutes in this one, I think Monty is gonna play him more from now.

We have early bird rights on Craig, so it's gonna be easier to retain him.

Absolutely.

The Clippers couldn't stop KD's mid range game so they started double him and that created so much space on the other side of the floor.

We did a nice job rotating the ball and finding Book with a little advantage over defenders.

Phoenix Suns star Chris Paul received an X-ray on his right hand following the Game 2 victory and results came back clean, league sources tell @NBAonTNT, @BleacherReport.

Looked in the Clippers forum and read some tweets from Clippers fans upset at Ty Lue for his rotations. As always, when a team loses, blame the coach. Classic bail out from fans!

Shamet will of course go away when Payne comes back.

We have Ross and Warren and D Lee but those guys really can't dribble. They'd be sitting ducks on a full court press and we all know that when there is no other ball handlers they press CP3 into extreme fatigue in the first quarter.

We don't have a choice.

It's always the same story. We have heard how great and amazing are Will Green or J Kidd and they are at home now. LOL

Shamet is the backup pg since we literally don’t have any ball handlers on the bench right now.

Okogie can dribble but he’s not a playmaker.

Really need Payne. I get that he’s inconsistent, but at least he can run the point, and at times will provide scores when we badly need them. Our bench can’t be any worse right now, and he can create for himself and others.

Fly Shamet off to marry Monty’s daughter, it will make us a better team almost certainly.

“Booker, KD and CP,” Clippers coach Ty Lue said why Phoenix shot a bonkers 58.8% for the game.

“Thought they really did a good job of just controlling the game. In that second half and fourth quarter, they really took over. We tried to blitz (sending the big aggressively on pick-and-roll ball handlers), we tried to fire (early trap before the screen), we did a lot of different things.

“They were down 1-0 and their stars came to play tonight.”

“In the first half, I thought we did a good job of our bigs being up (on screens), and then Ayton, he kind of got going, he made four or five of them,” Lue said. “And then we backed up, then Book and KD and CP got going.”

yeah true.....but neither is Shamet

Okogie at least plays awesome defense, puts pressure on the rim, he rebounds well and he can handle the ball a bit too. No he's not running PnR's or anything but neither does Shamet out there. Remember when Okogie was starting those 25 something games for us and the last 15 or so, he was taking the ball up the court even when CP3 was on the court. It's a small thing but that's literally all we're getting from Shamet now. Except he's hardly shooting 3's, he puts no pressure on the defense with his "offense" and his defense while underrated but it's far below Okogie's.
