I think JSN has superstar wideout upside, so if he's there I'm taking him. But my gut says he'll be gone, and then I'm pivoting to either Paris Johnson, Van Ness, or Murphy. 3rd option would be to trade back to the 20's and grab any of the 3 best TE's (Kincaid, Washington, Mayer) or maybe Nolan Smith if he's still there (I'm not the biggest fan though). Bijan at #15 would certainly be a big swing. Wouldn't be my first priority but I think it'd be defensible based on the type of talent he is.

Yeah, I think JSN is arguably going to be BPA at our pick and is also about as perfect of a fit with Watson as we can get. We would be set at WR if we take him.

I think it will be close on JSN. I do think we are going to get 13 from the Jets in a pick swap.

Also, if Witherspoon somehow slips, he would be pretty tough to pass on despite all the first round picks used on secondary recently.

So many prospects I'd be either ecstatic or "fine" with at #15, so of course, just watch us take someone like Darnell Wright or Mazi Smith and completely neuter my enthusiasm....

If JSN is at 15 I'm running that card up, he's such a perfect fit for the Packers at a premium position of need. He's my pipe dream prospect in this draft.

I like the new settings for PFF simulated trades.

Traded Aaron to the Jets for a 2024 1st and 2024 2nd. Bears then offered Kmet, Bears 1st and a 2nd for #15. Vikings also offered pick 25 and Dalvin Cook for 15. I countered to Bears and traded #15 and next year's 2nd for Kmet, Bears 2024 1st, and Panthers 2024 1st.

Saints then offered their 3rd round pick and Denver's 2024 2nd for my 2nd round pick. I countered and got Saints 2024 1st and a 5th for my 2nd this year and a 4th this year.

Ended up with
Jets 1st round 2024
Jets 2nd round 2024
Panthers 1st round 2024
Bears 1st round 2024
Saints 1st round 2024
Darnell Washington, Hendon Hooker, and a bunch of dline/oline.

It's hard for me to get excited over JSN when he's likely slot-only in the NFL.

Honestly curious if you have any sort of a top 15 for Green Bay? You seem to go against the grain a bit so I'd be quite interested in seeing your list

If memory serves, there was a lot of talk that Justin Jefferson was "just" a slot receiver, too. I actually see a lot of Jefferson in JSN.

He's 6-1 and ran a sub 4.5 40. He can play some outside. But in our offense, he would be more beneficial in the slot anyway, bringing more coverage closer to the LOS so Watson can burn it deep.

I mean, the dude had the all-time record for receiving yards in the Big Ten. He's not one-dimensional. If he didn't have the hamstring injury last year he's a top 10 lock.

He ran a 4.53 40, and 93% of his snaps at Ohio State came in the slot. He's very quick but he doesn't have deep speed. He's a slot in the pros.

Don't agree with that at all. JSN has decent size and can run the full route tree. Prototype "quicker than fast", aka the dude isn't gonna win the 100m dash, but he explodes off the line. Also, what is a "slot" in today's NFL anyways when every team in the league is running 11-personnel on at least 60% of snaps?

There is a 100% chance we draft WR with our 1st round pick.

It has to do with the structure of the roster - it's the biggest position of need, there's 0 depth and it's extremely important given we have a new QB. If Watson or Doubs gets hurt we are literally screwed at this position.

Also - having control over a WR for 4 years at a low price is going to be important given the future cap situation. We're only 2 years from having to pay Doubs or Watson, and if Love is good he gets paid next year.

It will be JSN or Flowers.

Considering your 100% stance, literally every single point of your argument is false, or can easily be made for at least 3 other positions on the roster that make more sense considering the $17m contract

I don't have a ranking yet. Maybe by the date of the draft. I just have some guys I would be happy to have by the end of round two.

Trade up:
Carter
Anderson Jr.
Wilson
Witherspoon
Gonzalez

Anywhere in the first:
Robinson
Kincaid
Wright
Skoronski
Sanders
Musgrave
Mayer
Washington
McDonald IV
Johnston
Flowers

Priority 2nd, possible trade ups:
Tillman
Gibbs
Tippman
Martin
Downs
Dell
Perry
Laporta

Of guys that I think could be there, if we stay at 15 give me JSN, Kancey and maybe Kincaid unless someone super unexpected falls down to us.

Beyond that, I am all for trading down. It is almost like if you aren't in the top 10 (or have a top 10 guy drop) then load up on as many top 100 picks as you can get instead.

Maybe Levis or Hooker are there at #15 and the Packers find a taker for a trade down. I'd be all for that.

No chance Levis is there. I don't see anyone massively trading up for Hooker, but who knows. I'm going to say the top 4 QB being gone by our first, whether it is 13 or 15, is a lock though.

Don't see how you don't have JSN, Van Ness, Murphy, or Smith in your "anywhere in the first" list either. You docked JSN for believing he's only slot, but then put Flowers, who is 5-9, ahead of him? I mean....

Smith I'd probably be okay with, but he's pretty light for an OLB.

Van Ness and Murphy are raw and I'm not sold on them the way I am other guys. Both could be good. I don't know.

Yes I have Flowers ahead of JSN.
