TCOB & they will roll over.

No assumptions that game will be easy.

Listen to Big Al when he talks about R1 in 2008.

Don’t give them any hope.

No slacking off until we are up 20+ with 3-4 minutes left.

No TOV, #7 & Marcus.

No lapses, JT - be MVP level all game - they cannot handle you.

Keep being PHENOMENAL, Derrick.

Brog will have a break out scoring game.

Move the ball.

Rebound.

Aggressive D.

All of the above obvious but all true.

Finish them & get Grant & Blake ready for Biid.

Sixers will be a tougher out than many here think.

Win game 3 and they will probably barely try in game 4. They likely still feel like they have a chance. Let them know, they don't.

I am with you except the Bold part..

Just Rotate Al and RW.. Make Embiid work on defense by pick and popping vs him.. I want no part of Grant or Blake. 2 players Philly won't even cover on defense. Don't want the lanes clogged up for our players.
2 things need to go.. my lack of spell check and Joe..

Grant shot 10-18 from 3 vs. Philly in the regular season, and had 71% TS overall. This was in 30 mpg, so as is usual for him his 11 ppg were somewhat low ... but yeah, I think they'll cover him.

Blake shot just as well vs. Philly, with more productivity per minute in 1/4 the minutes played. They may cover him too.

that was before Grant went tank mode after missing his 2 game losing FTs. Plus he was horribly bd on defense against Embiid. Plus this is playoffs. Doubt Philly covers Blake and lets Tatum get going..

Maybe we can use Grant just to keep on bumping Embiid to frustrate him. Let him shoot a couple. If he bricks them, then bench him again.

Just keep up a decent defensive effort. They don't have the talent to outscore us, imo and there are way too many mismatches- nobody to guard Tatum/Brown/White. Murray was getting abused by White/Smart/Brown last game.
Good assessment:

PLO wrote:Tatum played OK - took advantage of a few mismatches - decent on the defensive end. He is what we thought he was going into the season - a technically very proficient player operating close to his career ceiling as a rookie.

Friends, if the Celtics overlook the Hawks in G3 because they’re looking ahead to the next round, please be ready to confess that it is human nature:)

If Hauser is going to be helpful in later rounds, they need to get him more shots. Get his confidence up. Now would be a good time on the road. He's only had 3 shots (1/3) and 3 points in 25 minutes of floor time.

Take the crowd out early! We're on a mission and these guys are just the first hurdle.... Keep that team defense going and there won't be a need for a gentlemen sweep. Go C's!

Agreed - albeit about 1/3 of the crowd will be wearing green.

Hasuer is helpful even if he is not shooting. Hawks don't leave him alone for a second which opens the lanes
He is also no slouch on defense. Caused consecutive TO when guarding 'the overrated' and conceded only one basket in multiple posessions where he was targeted

lol. yes, if you want to be a champion you can never lose a game ever and you aren't allowed to be human

Every champion in NBA history has gone 16-0 in the playoffs

We have an unhappy medium here.
You didn't want the Celtics to be too tested and injured by playing the thuggish and sluggish Heat in the First Round.
OTOH, the Hawks are an under-achieving Lottery team masquerading as a Playoff club, offering Zero Resistance.
They're the NBA equivalent of Cotton Candy.
They shouldn't be here and it's no test at all.

So, just Cannonball these Suckers in the spirit of the great French Comic and Youtube Star Rémi GAILLARD...

Counting stats can't quantify what Fitts brought to the team.
I apologize for the things I have said in the past.
