AZ is going to trade with a division rival?
They're a dumber org than I thought.

They're not taking a QB. So trading back from 3 to 5 & getting more draft capital is logical. They could still get the top guy on their board. Arizona has a lot of needs.

Re: 2023 Draft Prospects
They may not draft a QB but one could argue that they should.
Because Kyler probably isn't the answer but now they're pot-committed.

Re: 2023 Draft Prospects
Arizona's in a good spot though to say, we'll pass on the QBs this year, cause it's looking like you're gonna have to pick between Richardson and Levis at 3, and if you're not sold on either, then you have 2 QBs you're not sold on with who you pick and Kyler
So they can either stay at 3 and take Will Anderson, or trade back and acquire capital and pass on drafting a QB this year, tank next year cause Kyler is out for most if not all of the year and the rest of the roster sucks, and then you might be in a position to draft Caleb Williams, who I'm told would be consensus #1 this year
Frankly, Arizona would be the worst spot for a guy like Richardson or Levis, guys who have upside but need work. QB development relies heavily on the team around them, it's rare for a guy to develop in spite of the team around him, we almost ruined Trevor Lawrence with bad coaching and teammates, and he was the best QB prospect in a decade.

Who is everyone's sleeper in this draft? Like in the first three rounds also who do you think drops the most?

Re: 2023 Draft Prospects
Trey Lance has thrown 420 passes between college and the NFL. For reference, Max Duggan was 28th in the NCAA in passing attempts last year with 419
I get the appeal, but there's just nothing to really evaluate him on, and his rookie contract is half up.

I don't think that's a valid reaction. As mentioned he's ultimately an unknown, he's also probably going to be cheap compared to any other viable option.

But this is my issue with this. He can’t be an unknown while also being a viable option at the same time. Also I doubt the 9ers will be selling him for pennies after everything they just gave up for him.
What would be cheaper, trading for Lance or standing pat and just taking Hooker? Or would it be any cheaper to get Lance then say whatever it will cost to jump up to get Levis? I doubt it.
Plus I’ve been pretty vocal on here about the type of QBs I prefer. Not a fan of QBs like Lance.

I've heard rumors of Lance going for a 3rd, so it's possible he's cheaper than either, and I'm not sure I don't prefer him to either. I prefer him over Hooker for sure.

Ya the reports Ive seen have been saying his most likely value right now is a late 1st or a high 2nd. At that price, that is a clear no thank you for me. But ya sure if he ends up being a day 3 draft pick value, then its different. But ya right now the talk Ive seen still doesnt have him there yet.

One thing to note is that Lance is actually still younger than both Hendon Hooker and Will Levis, more than 2 years younger than Hooker.

Stroud & Hooker both flunked the S2. Huge red flag.

But you know who didnt... Thats right Will Levis.
Also to be clear, Im not a fan of Hooker. Only 3 QBs in this draft would I want Minny to spend any legit asset on (1st or 2nd round pick) and that would be Stroud, Richardson, Levis.

You better have a good offensive line.
