Ayton...That guy.He has some type of performance anxiety.Is KD all of a sudden old? Seems as if he can't get past any defender one on one now.

That was always his issue. I saw it at AZ and often after that. He gets paralysis by analysis and if he starts to think too much about things he freezes, makes mistakes, doesn't make a decision fast enough, etc. It happened a bit right when CP3 got there because I think he had information overload. I wonder if it happens with KD...though KD seems shy.

But on top of that, I noticed for the first time kind of a deer in the headlights thing on on play..I know he is tentative and spins away from the basket or settles for jumpers, but I hadn't seen what I saw earlier.

He has always had that overthinking thing. I have never thought he was just being lazy. I think he starts thinking too much and just freezes and sometimes it happens often.

If he gets into an instinctual ryhthmn, he can be a force, and he did that for a good month in Feb...and in KD's second game, his play and #s completely changed. I don't know if he is still adjusting to KD or what, but he was averaging 23 and 10+ in Feb on 70% TS% and over 67% FG% and in March he dropped to 14.3 and 9.4 on 58% TS% and under 55% from the field. KD's first game was March 1st. That is a HUGE difference.

Look at ORTG in Feb and March...136 to 111. It looks like he had gotten it back in some April games with even higher efficiency than Feb but that was just a few games.
