Embiid should have been ejected for that on a few more looks. There's some force behind the kick

Thomas doesn't care about that but he is miffed he only gets the second most shots of all the Cams on the team.

Disappointing James was ejected, he was playing well. But he was -15 for the game and he played only 29mins this game allowing him to be fresher for next game.

“We could have easily gone away but we didnt do that. And it says a lot on the character of this team” - Doc

On previous years when calls are going against us, I find our team quitting a lot. We didnt quit because, I think we’re a lot more composed this year and quite frankly, we can beat this team without pulling out our A game.

Searched all around the podcast world, outside from the defaults that covers our team, trying to hear what people say about our team.

I ended up almost 0. Except for the ringer. I think this is the most boring series for everyone. Although the games yesterday were boring as hell.

After this WWE match, maybe we’d get some coverage.

Doc made a point about Harden’s more successful with his drives because of spacing and he did them earlier in the shotclock when he’s a threat to pass it out.

Wooow, what a gutty win. The officiating was hideous. Yes, Embiid could/should have been ejected, but Harden's ejection was ridiculous. Nets were physically trying to hurt us on some occasions, and the free throw criteria was not the same.. Obviously this was expected, but now we shut them up and they will not have that same energy in G4.. Even if they win a game, it's over in 5.

Not get fouled but run the time down. I think Melton made the right play.

Melton isn't a great FT shooter hence why it was understandable that he chose to score rather than try to run out the clock.

Credit Doc tonight for going away from him on offense. He was more of a decoy tonight. I'm not sure how much of him getting roughed up played a role in that, but at least he was in a safer spot on the floor. Brooklyn is going to continue to double and beat him up. He just needs to keep finding the open man, rebound the ball, and make plays on defense.

I'm not sure how much of the credit, if any, goes to Rivers. The offense was still starting with Embiid getting the ball, albeit near the 3-pt. line like years past. To his credit, he swung the ball, but Maxey just felt it and took over. Credit to me goes to Maxey and Tucker for his work on the offensive glass.

Agree. Embiid's was reminiscent of Green, and would have been worse had his kick hit the mark. But Harden's was a bullschiit call based on O'Neale's reaction and should have been a flagrant one at worst.

Not only that, but with only a few seconds left the dunk makes it a five point game. I get Embiid's reaction, but there was no reason not to finish it right there.

I knew Nic Claxton was going to get under the skin of Embiid. I was hoping for a different type of response from Jo. The kicking is not a good look. Let your play shut him up.

Nobody talked about it. But why did Biid suddenly knelt like his right leg got weak when Nets threw that lob? Did he slip or got out of balance?

Nothing to do with this guy JudahMax, and I never even go on the GB, but I was going to post last night (but didn't because I didn't want to spoil the vibe after the win) that as much fun as the game threads can be it gets tiresome when the same 2-3 a-holes pick every down moment to post the same garbage - "same old Sixers", "no fight", "told you it was going six games", "Harden is cooked", "Celtics will kill us", etc., etc.

And every time, unsurprisingly, they're nowhere to be found after a great comeback win.

Some of you guys need to understand players are human. In a perfect world, yeah Embiid shows some restraint there, but Claxton deserved every bit of that shot to the nuts.

So it's perfectly ok to respond by kicking someone in the balls because they dunked on you? This isn't a playground or a community center. These guys are supposed to be professionals that get paid hundreds of millions of dollars. They have fans all around the world, they set examples on how to conduct yourself at that level. Sorry, but I vehemently disagree that it's ok to retaliate like that. Look, Nic Claxton definitely deserves to be throat punched, but it's not worth Embiid getting suspended. We're trying to get to the Finals. This is supposed to be the MVP of the league. Hell no, no way should he be acting like that.

I saw it too. Physically he looked off all night long. I don't know if it's a case of him manipulating the game plan of the other team or what, but he does it all the time so you never truly know what the deal is.

No doubt they're human, but Embiid's primary responsibility is to his teammates, and a tantrum that gets him potentially tossed from the game helps no one - it makes him look foolish, but mainly it hurts the team, which right now is all that should matter. Grow up and get him back by scoring on him.
