I need Hauser to be in the rotation. Against the Hawks at least. Shave some minutes off Jays and save Grant for the Sixers series. Joe can always tighten the rotation if need be but he shouldn’t hesitate playing guys like Hauser and Griffin. Expect a deep run, can’t tire out the main guys in the first round.

Agreed. Hauser has been playing the best basketball of his career these past few games. Ride the hot hand. His confidence is sky high, from that game with the 3 dunks. Been playing solid D. Hitting shots.
Grant has proven that he's good at defending Giannis and KD. His defense in the playoffs last year vs those 2 guys (KD especially) was awesome. And he's had times when he's been very effective defending Jokic. He was decent defending Embiid, too.
If we face the bucks and suns, you better believe Grant is getting minutes.
But vs the Hawks, I'm going with Hauser over him all day.
Also, Rob will be key this series to match up with Capela and Okongwu and keep them off the boards. Our other bigs are too small and/or not athletic enough to match up with those guys. So we'll need Rob in there a lot - but it's a balancing act with Rob's minutes. Don't want to play him too much and have him get hurt so we don't have him for the other, tougher, more important series later on.
Just play Rob around 25 mins a game vs the hawks and we should be good.
Nothing wrong with having a different opinion - as long as it's done respectfully. It'd be lame if we all agreed on everything

Obviously certain matchups Grant favors over Hauser, but only against certain Bigs. Hauser's threat of hitting 3s (even if he isn't HOT right away) has to be accounted for by defenses. Hauser's perimeter defense is better than Grant's right now as well.
My opinion is there shouldn't be a debate anymore on Hauser > Grant but rather Grant, Blake or Muscala for 3rd Bigman minutes if Boston does indeed go 3 Bigs..

Start with your five out lineup. I think the best closing lineup would be the Jays, White, Brogdon and Al. Not against Smart and TImelord if they are playing well. But I think everybody is concerned Mazzulla with stay with Smart when White/Smart make a lot more sense. That's my biggest concern going into the POs.
Grant has looked like the worst player on our team at times recently. His defense which is supposed to be his strong suit against the bigger guys was terrible against Embiid in the last game. I think the 8th spot in the rotation should be fluid based on match ups and who is playing best (Grant, Hauser, Muscala, and even PP for that change of pace). Grant's act has worn thin and think most want him gone in the off season. We need to address our big depth regardless of what happens in the POs.

To be honest I'd start smart white brown Tatum horford. With timelord Brogdon Blake and can't as the 9 man Hauser as the tenth .only way I want to see kornet or muscala is if it's a blow out. I trust pp though so if we get foul happy or stagnant I could see him as the spark plug!

Well true but give him credit he’s only a minute out of being tied for fourth on the list so he’s not that far off lol.

Re: Who do you Vote, to make the Playoff Rotation?
So far, our 8-man rotation has looked more than adequate given the generous gameday intervals and our creampuff opponent, making fatigue a non-factor thus far.
Even then, our 8th man (Hauser) has struggled to contribute (1-3 FGA/3PA) in 26 minutes of PT over 2 games. Understandably, players outside of the core group need some time to find their rhythm -- something most coaches aren't typically inclined to risk or invest in, especially in the POs.
A couple or so of our heretofore DNP-CD bench guys are expected to play limited roles against the Sixers in the next round, by then already over 3 weeks after they last played meaningful minutes. Thus it shouldn't come as a surprise if they're not quite up to game-speed and are out-of-sync in their early few minutes, after which they may be immediately benched for being deemed unplayable.
...Which is why losing focus & throwing away a big lead results in a missed opportunity to give the bench guys valuable reps in the 4th quarter in order to keep them in playable form.
