Of course he does - he's on the roster.

He's only gonna play if he's 100%, healthy and medically cleared to play. Even in garbage time. Would be horrible if he puts in all that time and effort to work his way back from surgery, do all the rehab and then re-injure his knee because we put him back out there too soon in meaningless garbage time minutes.

Thanks for sharing this video. I haven't really considered Gallo part of the team for fear of getting my hopes up for next year. Even in this short video you can see how he can help if he returns to full health.

Next season teams playing the start of the game against Smart, White, Brown, Tatum and Rob Williams will be so happy when the Celts bring in the bench team, only to see a Gallo, Horford, JD, Brogdon and Hauser come in. I can just see them saying "WTF!!!???" .

100%. Worst case scenario Grant walks for nothing they can still make up losing the guy with the fourth highest minutes total (not to mention youngest rotation guy). Between Hauser, Rob, Muscala and Gallo they can all take another 4-600 minutes and not even miss him.

Yeah. People around here (me included, lol) will get bored this offseason because of how quiet it will be for us.

We've got the draft (which will be quiet obviously except for 1 2nd round pick we have). We'll probably trade Pritchard in a small deal. And then we're probably just gonna run it back with basically the same rest of the roster.

As for Grant, we either resign him to a team friendly deal (he's obviously not getting anywhere close to $20mil) or we do a sign and trade. Can't let him walk away for nothing..
