It all started with Zubac being force. You can't allow it.

Put Biambo in there. Lay out some pain.

I can see the Nets moving their role players but how will that get them a squad that can compete in the playoffs. The Nets are not much different than the Raptors and they will likely see major changes.

Why? I have no idea. It's amazing you guys continue to argue such odd things that I haven't even said anything about.

My argument is that alot of posters think Mikal is Kawhi 2.0 or better than Booker or KD or other such nonsense.

I'm not saying that's you but the Mikal hype here is ridiculous. It's like a bunch of parents talking about their kids.

I don't think anyone thinks that. They think giving up on 2 young players, another player worth 5 2nd rounders, along with 5 unprotected picks for an old injury prone player was not a good trade with looking at both short and long term. Especially when they were a key part of a finals team and a 64 year team and were getting considerably better this year meaning we could only go up. Everyone for some reason thought this young team had peaked...so what do we do...we turn a young team into an old one relying on 2-3 players and a bunch of scrubs we argue about how is less bad.

I know you like trading for injury prone players though (Isaac, Zion, AD, Dame, etc)

No one thinks Mikal is better than KD or those guys...or Book.

The Twins shocked bad way and some loser stat padding at the end. JJ made great trade.

Had to play the #1 role which of course he isn’t best suited for so team wasn’t very successful but still managed to have a very efficient season with all the attention he drew as the go to scorer for the Nets.

If they manage to get Lillard who raves nonstop about Bridges, (see below) Nets could definitely be a contender next season.

What are you talking about Revived? Mikal was supposed to be the second option here and disappeared throughout the playoffs.

I don't get your infatuation with Bridges when clearly he did not work within our system. Nets are not going to trade Bridges and the Blazers don't have any valuable assets outside Lillard.

They had some good games and that Nets roster is not great so they did fine with the roster they have there.

Did you watch any basketball this season before the KD trade? Bridges improved this season a lot on his ball handling and shot creating. He was useless against Dallas agreed but that actually motivated him to work more on his offensive game and he showed it this season even before the trade when Booker was out and more on the Nets as well.

This is Around the NBA thread, not sure what your agenda is on hating on Bridges. But other than you, Slimm (who really only dislikes Bridges because like 99% of Suns fans and basketball fans likes Bridges more than Ayton), the terribletakesmaestro and the KD fanboy that came over from Brooklyn, I don’t think you’ll find much support cause Bridges and Johnson are big pieces of what helped change the culture here and will all be loved by like 99% of Suns fans. Hell even the Suns players still love him and cp3 said 2 days ago that he was on the phone with Mikal before game 3 and Monty admitted the only time he’s ever cried about basketball was when the trade happened. So again it’s a weird hill for you to die on but do you.

I never said Bridges didn't improve because he absolutely improved. You just said he was the first option in Brooklyn and that is why they aren't a contender.

He was the second option here behind Booker (just ask the DA haters) and we could barely beat the Pelicans. We had to get Booker back and CP3 had to use up all his super saiyan powers.

Based on your statement Bridges doesn't work as the second option behind Booker and he doesn't work as the first option by himself. Yet somehow Bridges would be great behind Lillard.

Please makes this make sense besides just being a homer for Bridges. I love him and CamJo but based on recent events Bridges appears to be a great third option.

I said he compared to a Scottie Pippen, I think this is what he’s referring to. I stand by that. I bet Bridges will be on the USA team whenever that comes up.

Crowder's been a total nothing for the Bucks. Especially being down a power forward. Enjoy him Milwaukee.

OK, 1st of all we need to stop this constant talk of the Twins being some young, fresh faced kids. Like they're fresh outta high school. Both guys are or will be 27 when the new season starts-that's not the age players just make a massive leap into superstardom.

Odds are this is what they are: a decent 3&D forward and a pretty good wing. Neither can lead a team and most likely they max out as at best a #2 on a play-in quality team.

Second, for Revived. I don't dislike Mikal, I was always annoyed at how he could no wrong in this forum. Which btw has be proven true as he's been gone for 3 months and just got his team swept in the 1st round by a subpar Philly team...and yet posters still obsess over him.

My opinion hasn't changed since summer. I think that alot of posters here "soccer mom" this guy. You can make a very good case that if he had done his job better against Khris Middleton in the Finals that we would've won. That's squarely 100% on him.

People constantly forget or ignore it. Yet harp on all the little things Ayton does or doesn't do. Lastly, I've said endless times this season that Ayton needs to be moved this summer. We need depth and he's the last available trade chip to use to get some.
