Good defender though, but ya'll for real?

Pretty sure most of the T&T board thought Vanderbilt was worth a lottery pick at the deadline, so that theory...

And yeah, Rodman was never as young in the NBA as Vanderbilt is.

Not sure everyone watched it.

Why would anyone watch the video, when we can argue about the thread title. Watching the video, is like reading the OP. Who has time for that?

This is the kind of stuff that just serves to underrate certain players and feed certain narratives (like Jordan having to carry a team to 6 rings when in fact those teams were also just great around him).

No, stop. Rodman is in another realm. It's like comparing Kobe to Joe Johnson as a scorer. It's not the same thing. Lets keep it pushing.

So far this series, Vanderbilt has allowed 97.5 points per 100 possessions on defense. He has guarded everyone from Morant to Jackson.

As good as DLo and Rui have been offensively, Vanderbilt’s defense may have been the biggest deadline acquisition for this Laker team.

As far as heart and effort, I'd say yes, but it stops there. I like Vando, but he'll never be known as the best defender in the league and a GOAT rebounder.

Obviously some people never watched a lot of prime Rodman. He was one-of-a-kind and single-handedly redefined how we think about the PF role, for a while anyway.
