There’s no chance they steal this series. None. Freak will be back for game 4. Even if he didn’t play the rest of the series it would be very unlikely they could pull it off. Their bench showed a lot tonight but I’m not convinced they could repeat it. Bam has been terrible against lopez, butler is great, they need a lot more to get over the hump. The main thing is they will have to play 6 games to win the series now at least.

Ja just went Nuclear and scored 24? straight points for Memphis.. Too little too late. But wow... Memphis too small to get stops or rebounds... Miss Steven Adams Bigtime.

My phone fell behind the bed while watching the game last night so I’m late to the party, but I really didn’t think Brooks shot to the nuts was intentional. He swiped for the ball right as Lebron crossed over and he was a victim of running his mouth prior to the incident (his own doing), Draymond, Embiid and Harden drawing attention to how the league handles those (not his own doing), and it happening against Lebron (who the league protects). If Brooks took a shot from Lebron it’d be ruled incidental or a flagrant 1 at most imo. The refs were super quick and they only showed a couple replays so I’m willing to consider there could be better angles too.

There's no guarantee that Giannis will be back for game 4. Even if he is, it's hard to believe he'll be 100% effective two days after being unable to play in a playoff game. Miami is up 2-1. They have the coaching advantage and playoff Butler. They also have a series win against the Giannis/Middleton Bucks in the not too distant past. The Heat have scored 120+ points in every game so far, the Bucks haven't been able to slow them down at all and they only have a win because of a completely absurd, unsustainable shooting performance. The Bucks are the better team and I still expect them to pull the series out but it's ridiculous to suggest that Miami has no chance.

#1 Bucks trailing in their series and Giannis banged up.

#2 Celtics lose one game.

#3 Sixers MVP Embiid got bad results from an MRI on his knee.

#4 Cavs look like they might get bounced in the first round.

Our current situation is pretty good by comparison, you guys.

No, no, no...I got you. I'll translate this into the language for the C's fans who love to complain about losing more than they love cheering about winning:

#1 Bucks trailing in their series and Giannis banged up. Our players are healthy so we should win every game

#2 Celtics lose one game. It's the first game of all the games we're about to lose because Tatum is Larry Bird who was perfect in every way

#3 Sixers MVP Embiid got bad results from an MRI on his knee. This series is already taking too long so now Embiid gets to rest and despite all our previous success against him, he will crush us because Tatum is inconsistent

#4 Cavs look like they might get bounced in the first round. Who cares? We're the worst #2 seed that ever played this game.
and that's "MR. Irrelevant" to you!!

There’s no way Embiid won’t suit up for Game 1. That said, I don’t think he lasts this post season(again).

This is one of the better Playoff crowds I've seen in a while.

NYK isos more than any team in the league. I mean, there is zero ball movement. Surprised it has worked so well this year. But they pound the glass hard.

I think the cavs win the next one and it ends in 6 for the knicks. Damn... Has to be super deflating for them to get eliminated in the first round. They have a bright future though.

Yeah they looked really great at the start of the season. Credit to the Knicks, though. They have some faults but they’ve found ways to win games after the trade deadline.

Curious to see how the second round plays out. Don’t think NY will be an easy out for anyone on that side of the bracket, especially if Giannis is banged up.

With that being said, Celtics need to not go back to Atlanta next week and close this in 5. Not wishing injuries on anyone but I’ll take a favorable matchup where we can get one. Embiid and Giannis both getting so beat up early on could bode well for us.
