I'm really curious to follow these results over the next few years and see how they translate to NFL success. So far we've heard of some correlation but I don't think we've seen nearly enough to draw any conclusions on the s2 test

Yea I get that, and I'm sure NFL teams have more access to the full data then we do so it'll be interesting to see where Stroud and Hooker go. But as far as publicly available information we don't have enough of it yet to determine the correlation. Early signs seem promising however.

Plus there is also this so who knows how true those numbers are

An interesting (IMO) article on the S2 test from the Acmepackingcompany.com site:

https://www.acmepackingcompany.com/green-bay-packers-draft/2023/4/22/23693326/nfl-draft-2023-the-s-2-cognitive-test-and-you-quarterbacks-bryce-young-cj-stroud

It goes into a bit of the methodology and draws some comparisons/contrasts to the Wonderlic test. Draw your own inferences from there.

Basically this paragraph is why I'm hesitant to trust it

"S-2 can tout their successes all they want, but their proprietary nature means we don’t have a full set of data to actually verify the significance of their results. There are plenty of pseudoscience-y tests that sound good in theory, from Wonderlic, to Myers-Briggs, that will look great when only presented with the successful sample. We’re not the clients, and we’re not entitled to that data, but without transparency, they’re not entitled to trust either"
Coach Drew: "Milwaukee has always been a team that I have been intrigued by. When we played them, they were a tough team for us to play. Although we did beat them all four times"

So the experts are guaranteeing now that Cj Stroud is a bust? Is that what this all basically means?

Starting to get the feeling NYJ takes JSN at 13.

I think the Bears take him at 9, unless Will Anderson or Carter falls into their lap.

It's hard for me to believe either team would take him over an offensive lineman.

It seems like NYJ is basically locked into one of the tackles at 13

Idk. Jets have 1 valuable pass catcher. Skoronski, Johnson Jr or Jones definitely make sense too but that offense is pretty bare on playmakers outside of Garrett Wilson and Breece Hall’s 1 knee.. JSN makes a ton of sense, especially as a show of good faith to Rodgers to do something GB would never even consider during his 18yrs with the team..

Maybe I’m just being pessimistic because I’ve totally talked myself into JSN at 15 but he just makes tons of sense in NYJ the more I think about it.

I've weened myself off JSN at 15 the closer we get to draft day. Even if he's there, I'm not sure Gute pulls the trigger.

JSN's draft projection is all over the place, but I could see him going as high as 8. Could see a scenario where he goes to New York to appease Rodgers, but they need O-Line help. Think Broderick Jones or Darnell Wright makes a lot of sense there.

Imagine drafting Dawand Jones and by this time next year our two tackles being Dawand Jones/Caleb Jones

LT= Dawand 6'8" 370
LG= Jenkins 6'5" 311
C= Myers 6'5" 310 (although I do wonder if Zach Tom will be our center this time next year)
RG=Zach Tom or Runyan (both about 6'4" 310)
RT= Caleb 6'9" 320

Then draft Darnell Washington in the 2nd round at 6'7" 270

I don't think JSN gets to 15. I see Houston at 12 making a ton of sense for him, I just don't think it'll be the Jets who take him

I've just learned to not expect them to draft offensive skill positions in the 1st round. If they do it, then it's a nice surprise but I'm not getting hung up on the idea of it.

I agree. I think if JSN gets drafted before our pick, HOU makes the most sense.

Quentin Johnston makes more sense for Houston than JSN in my opinion. Idk tho maybe I’m wrong but a slot WR at 12 to a team with 22 question marks all over the place seems unlikely to me.

Is QJ displacing Watson or Doubs because I don’t think any of those three are probably effective full time slot WR

I made the comment once before but I don’t see a difference between QJ and Eq St Brown. College stuff I watched they seem almost identical but I also loved Jaleon Reagor so I guess who knows

QJ is definitely getting his tires pumped because of this class. But so is JSN.

I like Cedric Tillman in the 2nd or 3rd round if possible.

Think he is being slept on.
