At this point it's now been 9 straight playoff games. I will be pleasantly surprised if we see it but I'm not expecting it.

It's a mental thing but it's crazy it effects his entire game. You think he would lock in on defense and rebound absolutely everything in site.

Glad thibs decided to stick with obi. His activity was key. Even his ability to show on screens when randle never moves his feet.

His career high for FG% in a playoff game was game 2 this year where he shot 40%.

He just isn't a very good complimentary piece. Don't get me wrong we wouldn't have been the 5th seed without him. But his game isn't cut out for playoffs both mentally and physically.

And RJ fits the timeline better and doesn‘t play these mental games. I said it all season, I‘d prefer Obi starting at the 4, even though he isn‘t as good as Julius. But he is much more intelligent.

Our future is bright.

I truly believe Randle will find himself these playoffs and have monster games. Maybe even game 5.

RJ leveled up and Brunson took Mitchell's soul

Sounds like Winston Churchill. This is not the beginning of the end, but perhaps the end of the beginning.

You're not going to get the same bench production from Grimes.

Why is everybody trying to move Randle like he's no t the main reason we're a 5 in the playoffs. I'd rather concentrate on removing the yips from his game as opposed to what we may or may not get in a hypothetical trade

Nothing burger. He clearly has to be upset with how he played, was standing and cheering on the bench in real time. Showed that he is a good teammate. He isn't 100% and his teammates lifted.

Thibs playing Toppin at the end was huge. As great as Mitch was, the big run was with iHart. The two make a great pair.

He's not. He had a wonky rookie deal. This is his contract contract.

I know there is a lot of handwringing about IQ, and he definitely needs to play better on offense, but his defense on Garland in the second half after Darius went off in the third completely steadied the ship and allowed us to get back in our rhythm

The injury comment is to shade him from his mental weakness.

Man this has been my favorite team my whole life.

The last 5 years were a tough hang, and I couldn't bring myself to care the same way I used to.

Maybe it was all the heartbreak, disfunction, constant ineptitude, or just getting older and having other real life priorities.

But today felt like the old days. Josh Hart hits that shot in the lane to beat the shot clock and the tears started flowing a little. Feels good to love this team again.

Hope we get to see the Hated Heat in round two and dispatch them again for old time's sake.

I'm sure it's a bit of both. His 1st step doesn't seem nearly as explosive. He's definitely hurt. His inept contribution isn't helping him mentally. I think he bounces back on Wednesday.

Blowing off the media after a big win suggests to me this isn't mainly an injury thing. He needs to get it together yo
