The best parts of this game have looked like 20th Century throwbacks. For example:
-- The Smart-Horford-Timelord passing play.
-- Various guys skying for rebounds or blocks.
-- Various quick passes ahead to start fast breaks.
-- Rob repeatedly leaping to try to save out-of-bounds balls.
-- At least one very timely baseline jumper from Tatum.

By way of contrast, the 3s have been bricks, disturbingly open undefended tries, or both.

We really needed Smart’s energy and decision making to stop that run and respond. He got the energy and organisation back in defense and the movement and decision making in offense.

Yes, it was a weird half. Not sure how we're up by 12, especially with Tatum and Brown having subpar games so far.

Atlanta has some nice young talent but that team looks unbalanced.

Up double digits despite some very dumb play from Tatum & brown. If the hawks don’t get 13/14 type of hot in the second half we should be able to win by a good margin

Mazzula probably ain't changing D and will say look at their shooting% leaving guys wide open is a gamble so Jaylen and Tatum better step up the offense.
