ZOMG you guys! That was stressful lmao! But fret no more, we won Game 4!

The defense was awesome tonight and we had 6 guys in double figures, led by the Jays. Rob and Smart were huge! Great team win!

Celtics lead 3-1! Game 5 is Tuesday at 7:30 on TNT. GO C'S!!

Marcus Smart masterclass tonight. Probably his best game of the year.

JB and the Lord get my votes.

Honorable mention to Smart.

3-1 with the Hawks playing so well feels really good. I'm happy with the effort I'm seeing.

The effort level in that game was insane, I hope people realize how hard both teams played. A comparison I used elsewhere, but the entire game felt like a hockey overtime.

Any of Rob, Jaylen, Tatum, Smart, or White could get the VC, easily.

What I posted lated in the game thread:

If the Celts hold on, the VC choice may be hard:
-- White was the obvious first-half choice, for defense and scoring efficiency alike, but he cooled down and at least Young warmed up.
-- Rob has been the guy with the most conspicuous energy, but Smart, Jaylen (offense), Tatum (blocks) and others have had their moments.
-- The box score offers no clear answers. E.g., Al has been outstanding in rebounds and assists ... but he has zero points. And nobody has more than 5 assists.

As I type this, Rob and Jaylen are playing up a storm, and Jayson just made a great drive to the hoop ...

and

And since I did the VC post, Tatum had that needed super-long 3, then Rob had that great kickout to Brown, among other Brown and Timelord plays ...

First time this playoffs I want to vote Tatum. 4-13 from the three wasn't nice, but attacked all night, reliable on the defensive board as usual, and had some KG moments on defense.

This might be my favorite win of the year. When you consider it's the playoffs and the hawks brought it. If the celtics didn't bring that same energy and hit big shots they lose, period. They really earned this one.

Punch the Beak! Punch the Beak!

I am going smart vc, but that turnover at the end after he shooed Tatum away almost made me change.

Horford being team-high plus 17 while scoring zero points is funny. Voted for Rob.

This is probably over in five but people will forget how competitive it was in Atlanta

Since maskless JB is not an option I’m going team.

JT solid, Marcus brought the right energy, as did Rob, White and Brogdon had moments and JB was best to finish.

Super fun game. Hawks played really well, but we always had an answer.

That was an unexciting, business-like win for the Celts. There was nothing spectacular except maybe the overall play by Timelord.

Let's finish these guys off on Tuesday. No need to give them (or the Sixers) any hope.

Murray's well it's about to run dry. If Trae is off next game it's a wrap.
