Welcome to the out of the top 10 pick range.

Bunch of prospects with massive holes in their games.

Honestly, I'd have the same questions even if the Raps held pick #6. Lots of flawed prospects.

I don't think the draft is particularly deep with star-level talents. Just a lot of guys who project into solid players.

Wemby, Scoot definitely gone, Miller is probably gone but who knows after top 2.
Who'd you pick at no.4?

Amen Thompson

Really after the top 3, you're looking for the Jalen Williams kind of player from last year.

Actually, after Wemby, the draft looks similar to last summer. I'd say Chet and Scoot are on par in terms of level of prospect. Wemby higher than Banchero. Jabari and Brandon Miller, pretty close.

Cason Wallace. Kentucky knows how to scout for guards.

This is where I'm at. I'd prefer Coulibaly for his upside though.

I have a feeling Bilal will be firmly on Masai's radar. He just seems like a Masai prospect, but in a guard's body instead of a forward.

Another shot at Bruno 2.0?

At 4, who are you taking, one of the Thompson's? Walker? Hendricks? These guys aren't even locks to be solid starters.

I think I like the lottery talent of last years draft better.

This board can't arrive at a consensus that Bilal should be the pick. That's almost a guarantee he'll suck

Brandon Miller looks like a better prospect than Jabari did imo. Jabari could shoot but Miller can shoot, pass, and dribble. I’m always in for the kids with well rounded skill sets who know how to play. He should be picked ahead of Scoot imo.

Does anyone have notes on this bad boy?

Summary:
-Only have 1 pick this draft
-Talked about our struggles offensively and defensively along with poor roster construction
-This pick won't solve all of out needs
-Each guest provided 3-4 players that they could see us taking with pick 13, some choose the same player
-Brice Sensabaugh, Gradey Dick, Cason Wallace, Jordan Hawkins, Kobe Bufkin
Essentially they went with players who either provide great offense but poor defense or ok offense but great defense.

I've not followed Emoni Bates and see he just declared for the draft. He was a big deal a year or two ago, what happened? He's projected to go in the 2nd round? Was it just the gun possession charge (that was dropped)?

t-rex wingspan, bad efficiency scoring wise, doesn't do anything else on the court other than trying to score.

At this point we all know who we want the Raptors to pick, but who do we think they actually will assuming no roster changes?
Masai tends to prefer athletic guys with good BPMs (especially dBPM)and Bobby mentioned in an article before they like guys who rebound well.
In the end of season press conference he talked about shooting too.
Historically Masai hasn't traded back or up, he's just picked the guy at the top of the board when it's their turn.

Cason Wallace is definitely a guy that checks all the boxes although not a shooter, he isn't bad at it, but he probably won't be available.
Hendricks might also be the pick, but we'd have to trade a 4 so he would get playing time and his dBPM isn't very high (below 3).

Lively fits as an impactful athlete, but he can't shoot and we don't have room for a centre unless we trade Koloko.

I'm at a loss for anyone else in this draft that might fit the criteria I listed. Leonard Miller perhaps, but again I think Masai steers clear of a 4/5 and it's tough to evaluate G league guys impact. It would also be quite the reach for Miller as I haven't really seen anyone rate him in the top 20.
