The Toronto Raptors will interview Adrian Griffin for their head coaching vacancy.

Griffin was an assistant coach under Nick Nurse, who the Raptors parted ways with at the end of their season.

Griffin has been an assistant coach since his retirement in 2008.

In my mind before hearing this news I figured Griffin would be looked at by the raptors and pistons for the job. He seems like a strong candidate and has been known to assist in player development. I kind of expected either him or the bucks assistant Charles Lee to get the Pistons job but I didn’t anticipate the raptors being a vacancy.
