I feel this is a trap game
Celtics will not come focused
ATL will play better without this punk and with Bogdan or Bey in the lineup
Trae will dance and these two will be parked on the corners to shoot open 3s

I hope we will come focused beat the hell out of them

We should win this game comfortably. This is the playoffs. If it’s the regular season, then maybe we lose focus. We’ve been to the finals, they know what’s at stake here.

Let’s finish them off early. Who knows what will happen if the series goes to 6 or 7. Plus would you rather risk embiid getting that extra days to recover?

End this **** tonight. The team badly needs a few days to recover... let's do it.

Also, I HATE Miami but I do feel like this is all setting up to be fortuitous for the boys in Green. Home-court advantage throughout the entire playoffs would be yuge.

My assumption is that the Celtics can finish the Hawks off tonight without Jaylen.
I also assume Embiid plays with a strained LCL whenever the next series starts.
But no one has co-signed my idea and there's no news of re-injury to the hand, or concern about it, so I guess this is all hopefully moot.

(all I could quickly find: an SI article from yesterday in which JB -- after G4 -- said the hand is getting 'better each day' https://www.si.com/nba/celtics/top-stories/jaylen-brown-explains-what-led-to-him-taking-protection-off-lacerated-right-hand-in-game-4)

Can't afford to make assumptions like that in the playoffs. Trae could go on a heater, hit every contested shot, and score 60 to win the game. Can't imagine how angry the players would be if Jaylen wasn't playing for that.

If I remember correctly Silas is a local guy. Might work out for next year since this team will need a senior assistant on the team.

right, better off jumping to a first hald 20 point lead, then securing that lead early in the 3rd to make atlanta quit

Could be something, could be just another out-of-work coach being entertained by Stevens (certainly not the first one). But yeah, Silas was born in Boston the offseason prior to the championship season of the Cs with his dad.

I just don't see the Hawks doing much without Murray, even though he isn't exactly that guy for them or even a good pair for Trae. But it is what it is, still a good player who certainly will be missed by them.
