Also for the record, I do not think Miami will win this series, but last night's hype about Butler solely deals with what could have been.

Agree Bucks are a better team, however it's unlikely they can come back. I'd say 75% chance for Miami to win the series now.

Wow I am an idiot. For whatever reason I thought Miami went up 2-1 last night, not 3. Yeah, I wouldn't bet on Milwaukee lol

People forget how big and strong jimmy is. A legit 6'8 230 and retained most of his athleticim(solid first step and quick leaper) due to the work he puts in. Just as crafty around the rim as anyone.

Actually he’s 6’5” barefoot. But he’s the best in creating space and the best in pacing.

And I dont know what the right basketball term to describe this OP move of his where he will drive.. then pivots into a turn around jumper or an up and under lay-up. Luka and Brunson are also great with it. For me thats one of the most unstoppable moves in basketball now.

He's definitely closer to 6'8 than 6'5 .

Few players in NBA history were so much better in the playoffs than in the regular season...and it hurts so much that we had him and let him go only to keep a player (Simmons) who was exactly the opposite. Also Harden and Butler are both 33, but Harden looks like he is 43 next to Butler lol.

I can’t imagine what the takes would be if we were down 3-1 first round against an 8th seed. Celtics and Buck fans would be having a field day let alone our own. We swept our opponent and the discussion is centering around blowing it up.

Because context is completely removed when you look at it that way. Embiid has an injury that might affect us into the second round, the Nets were a lottery team who had no business being in the playoffs, the Heat played worse in the reg season than they really were, and the Celtics strangely dropped one game against the Hawks. Meanwhile the background noise is that Harden wants to return to the Rockets and a former star of ours is taking down a one seed.

We also haven't been able to get out of the second round in the playoffs and Harden hasn't been able to take off as a scorer, something we'll definitely need in this matchup against the Celtics.

So, I somewhat agree with you that we should be more excited than doomer about the next round, but I also get why there's concern about this teams longterm potential.

We did everything right this year in my opinion. We preserved Embiid as best as we could and still had him in position to take home the MVP. He had adequate rest towards the last two weeks of the season...We did everything to prevent this situation from happening and yet it still happened. I can absolutely understand and relate to any concern people have over this ever so frustrating re-run of BS injuries in the postseason that he continues to have happen. It's beyond frustrating. Add to the obvious, steady decline of James Harden and yeah...There's concern. With that said, I think we will know when it's time to finally blow it up. When the current roster makes the playoffs as a 7th seed, it'll be a clear cut definite sign that it's time. When teams like Cleveland, and New York begin to pass us up, it'll be time. Until then, if this roster can continue to stay at the upper echelon of the east, then I think eventually we'll make a Finals run and win it. Keep in mind that the top three teams expected to win it all this year are Milwaukee, Boston, and US! We ended up only a couple of games behind Milwaukee for the best record in the league. I don't think the sky is falling, but I understand the concern. Especially after we get put to sleep by Boston in round 2.

I think we have a great chance to beat Boston and exorcise some demons. We have a legitimately talented team with shooting, depth, and defense. Harden potentially choking & Embiid not being 100% is just the reality we were always going to run into.

I feel like an insane person but I think it’s our year & we’ll overcome the obstacles. Sixers in 7.

Trae is such a good bad shot maker. Looks ugly when they don't get in, but man, that dude isn't afraid of the moment.
