They didn’t think we’d make it this far and if we did they figured it would be a blowout W for the Bucks to close out the series 4-1 lol

We may well not win this series but how many of these fans watching in bliss us win gm3 & celebrating going up 3-1 vs top seed Bucks.

They pressed the suspend button on me for calling these same cats out, the same cats who i'm sure now hold dear to their hearts the memory this team & Jimmy provided us w/ that glorious win. That same cast ya'll wanted gone, those undrafted scrubs, the same coach you put under the bus helped Jimmy rip Bucks a new ass-hole they may not recover from.

Lesson here....don't be a p*ssy. We're a f*cking top notch organisation. We do things the right way. We let a warrior like Jimmy go to war. We tanked we would have nvr experienced one of the greatest playoff performances, not just in Heat history but NBA history. Some calling it the greatest PO performance ever. Tanking would have robbed us of this gift.

Spoiler:
I'm still uncertain we win this series but let's try rip their hearts out any f*ckin way

I mean, this reminds me (to a degree) of when the Warriors (8th seed) knocked out Dallas (#1 seed) back in the day. I'm not trying to get ahead of myself here. Miami still has to win the series, and that is no easy feat. Even if Miami wins Game 5 and/or the series, the reality is Miami will have beaten a Milwaukee team that had its two stars at far less than 100%. On top of that, Miami has shot unreasonably well this series 54 fg% and 47 3pt% (versus 46% and 34%, respectively, for the season); even Duncan Robinson is shooting outrageously well by his standards: 15-22 (68%) 3pt in the last 3 games.

Miami will still be a team with ~$60M committed to Robinson, Oladipo, and Lowry next season.

Regardless of what happens the rest of the playoffs, Miami should be judged on the entire body of its season and not a single playoff series (against a hobbled #1 seed) or even a playoff run.

In the meantime, let's enjoy the playoffs.

I don't want to be that guy, but I might as well. The league will not want the #1 seed and favorite in Milwaukee out in 5. They tried real hard in the first 2 quarters of game 4 to cement their win, by giving us the short end of the stick and getting the bucks comfortable into their game. Jimmy Buckets however spoiled it with an all time performance and they had to pull back and just let it be. Tonight however I just think in Milwaukee its going to be 1-4 quarters of BS from the start to make sure this goes at least back to Miami. Now the wrench in the plan is Miami's bench coming in and getting super hot from three, Jimmy doing Jimmy things and Bam waking the F up and dominating his matchup. If that happens from the tip, I guarantee the refs let it go cause its just insurmountable and let the Miami rock them. If Miami comes out flat we will get marginalized in fouls to make sure were completely taken out of this game.

Man, 9:30 pm is brutal for me, that's 4:30am over here. But honestly the whole playoff schedule is a mess this year.

Damn the Heat drew the short end of the stick again? Sucks but that’s what you get when you’re competing with big markets primetime viewership.

Edit: just found out there’s only 1 game on Thursday and 4 games today. What is the nba doing?

I agree, the zebras will lay down the law tonight to extend series

How pathetic is it that we all know the NBA is rigged

Yeah I suspect something similar. Don't see us winning this game. NBA not gonna let the bucks disappear in 5 to an 8th seed. Would take another crazy performance from Jimmy and elevated shooting that's been happening. Especially if Scott foster or tony brothers are reffing, which I don't know about.

They’re saving Scott Foster for Game 6.

Tonight it’s James Williams, Sean Wright, and Pat Fraher.

https://official.nba.com/referee-assignments/

Spo and Williams have a long history. We in deep doo-doo.

From earlier this year:

Spoelstra wasn’t happy with referee James Williams, who called a technical foul on Butler for leaving the court late in overtime and made other questionable calls or non-calls.

“It was a bizarre deal,” Spoelstra said. “There were half a dozen instances with that official. It’s neither here nor there. I’m not going to get a fine. League you’re not even going to think about giving me a fine.

“It started off with that blocking foul [against the Heat], where Jimmy took one to the face. Then Cody took another one to the face and broke his nose. Our debate about those things seemed to carry over.... And then it became a matching of egos I guess. He got the last laugh on that one, the official did.”

If this was an alternate universe and Spo was a mastermind and troll like Coach Pop. He would rest both Jimmy & Bam, and play all the Young guns tonight with injury/inflammation. Start Heisthmith, Jovic, and even play Haslem significant minutes, tell those guys to go bully bucks, and give our stars rest. This takes all the confidence from the obvious fix thats gonna happen tonight because Miami didn't play their main guys, and gives bucks zero answers to Jimmy problem, whom they won't be able to try their game 5 planned adjustment until game 6 in Miami's house with different atmosphere. Talk about the type of mental power play if they did that.
