Get used to it. That and substack. Other mediums are dying out or have lost integrity.

I don't know. Substack, Medium, and other platforms of that nature are at least much more catered towards full length articles. The only similarity is that anyone can sign up and pretend to be a journalist without any real credentials.

It's an entirely different experience than trying to piece together a thread on Twitter.

Yeah, I don't buy one bit that Lue was throwing games. They have been hyper competitive in every series they have lost without Kawhi and PG.

Piggybacking on the Ty Lue comments. I find it very hard to believe that most players hate him or that he was trying to throw games, because both of those things go completely against the product you see from that team on the floor. They play with effort and intelligence for 48mins, never give up, have excellent game plans. Unless that only happens when they play against the Suns?

The Morris this is interesting because I remember reading comments from the Clips board about how they hated Lue playing Morris (Monty+Shamet anyone?). But Morris always (used to at least) torches the Suns so I wasn't surprised to see him get some burn this past series. I was very surprised not to see any Covington though. Unless he is washed and I just don't know about it. Clips are so deep though that I suppose someone is going to be the odd man. Unless RoCo fell off a cliff he'd likely be the 5th best player on the Suns

I mean, you can post your article almost ANYWHERE in a better format, and then make a single twitter post that links it. This is what news agencies do. So "get used to it" doesn't make any sense. There is no reason not to do better.

I'm sure at least some of this is fabricated to an extent but I completely believe the Kawhi stuff. He's always come across as a "me first" toxic teammate.

This seems true. The Raptors didn't even know if he would show up when they traded for him, because he didn't communicate until he literally had to show up. Then there was a moment in the season where some of the bench players were making it clear they were in the dark about Kawhi's availability, and their assistant GM had to lie about how Load Management was all scheduled well in advance.

Eh don't know if its true or not. The only thing that truly is a fact is Lue possibly having connects with ESPN TV people but even that isn't some ground breaking revelation because SAS and all the talking heads never really criticize ex-pros turned coaches who are AA or really even any AA coaches(not trying to bait but its true). It's like pulling teeth getting them to criticize Doc Rivers or Jason Kidd.

The bitching about this being reported on twitter is hilarious. Old man yelling at the clouds vibes.

This sounds and looks pathetic to be honest. Considering the “thread” is posted up on Twitter is probably the least looking credible source. It’s like the posters that post stuff from NBACentral lol. The guy is just a fan. A mad one at that. If true however, fire Lue then! Grab Nurse & see where that takes you. Might as well get Gasol & Ibaka while they’re at it.

Bank Shot wrote:The Lue stuff seems like it was fed to this guy by unhappy players. There's probably some truth to it (lots of X Clip is frustrated stories this year) but hard to say how much of it is accurate.

I believe the Kawhi stuff. It lines up with what he's done everywhere else. Even in Toronto, he created some locker room drama. It just didn't get reported on much because the Raps did a good job of keeping it in-house.

The only “drama” I recall in Toronto was guys like Fred being jealous of his treatment. Was there anything else?

Who's the guy? We need a name since he's publicly leaking information as a "credible source".

Kawhi doesn't look too amused in those videos  My guess as to what he's thinking:

a) Why the hell did I leave the Raps :banghead:
b) Why didn't I sign with the Lakers :banghead:
c) Why did they sign Westbrook :banghead:

i think my issue is that this guy didn't actually "report" anything, he posted a bunch of things that may be true but that a proper journalist would have been able to prove beyond "hey trust me man i was there"

Exactly. There’s a proper way to write an article to articulate the actual message. This just looks like an angry fan that’s…angry and his way of relieving stress is Twitter threads that make him seem “legit” because he stated out obvious rumors. Big deal. I’ll believe it when I actually see something happen, then the guy can be as credible as he wants. Lol

Should be obvious to everyone by now that Kawhi is a locker room cancer.
Even when he left Toronto there were leaked reports about how he was a diva that wanted special treatment and never bothered to fit into the group -- and he helped that franchise, those players and the coaches win their first title ever!
When you only play one season on a team and win the championship that season and people still trash you on the way out, yeah I'd say you aren't the most easy going guy lol.

I dont even use twitter, but I dont get how you can lose 90% of advertisers, is just a platform for people to write messages online... How do you kill it that bad, so fast. I know that he unbanned some questionable politicians and Nazzi symphatizers, but that cant be all of it. Like what is worse about Twiiter now, from outsider, it seems to be exact same thing.
