What trajectory? He’s played great 20 NBA games, there is no trajectory. People always assume young players make significant and consistent strides forward every season. That rarely happens. Is Luka better this year than last? What about Tatum? How’s Zion’s trajectory?
KP’s trajectory was pretty sweet after his first couple of seasons. Literally everything being said about Mobley now was said about AD 8 years ago and now there’s a thread every week asking why he’s not better.

I hate that I have to be making this point because I love Mobley as a prospect but the overwhelming likelihood is that Mobley will never be as good as one of the 8 or so best players of all time, which is what Duncan is. That should be patently obvious.

NRSV has his own special trajectory in his mind for mobility. He will be better than Duncan. It is what it is. It's just a matter of when people accept this reality.

Thanks for spreading the gospel. It is what it is.

The only way Mobley doesn’t end up a top 15 ATG player is injuries or an org ruining him.

Just another night. Playing center. Elite rim protection. 20 foot fade aways going in. He’s the next great one. Most valuable asset in the league.

Picks up primary ballhandler at perimeter. Shuts them down. Then protects rim as the ball swings and forces a miss. Gets the board.

He's a 7'0 PF/C elite rim protector. Also doing this.

Better but weaker Bam Adebayo

Generational defender but his offense is ass and will never move the needle

Cavs fans got mad when I compared him to Bam, or Gobert.

you're never gonna tap into Mobley's offensive potential as long as he's playing with two score first guards in Garland/Mitchell - Cavs might as well trade him and move on with DG/Mitchell/Allen + whoever they get for Mobley.

Absolutely useless on offense in the POs. People were comparing him to AD lol.
He's essentially a more mobile Jarrett Allen.

Cavs should trade one of them or wait for LBJ and Bronny to join in 2027 and then figure things out from there.
So many people who attain the heights of power in this culture—celebrities, for instance—have to make a show of false humility and modesty, as if they got as far as they did by accident and not by ego or ambition.

depends on your definition of featured but yes, generally speaking I think he can your #2 scorer and probably your #1 efficiency guy pretty easily similar to what Duncan was most years for the Spurs.

Garland aint score first......hes one of the best passers and playmakers in the league in general. Mobley got a mid offensive game always has and no bag, weak handles, passable passing.

"Offensive potential"  Mobley finna make his bread off his defense

He needs to add some sort of jump shot, if not you arent going to be able to play him and Allen on the floor at the same time. We saw it in this series, they have two non shooters out there the majority of the time and they only reached 100 points once.

I agree. His mobility and size and length are just ridiculous. I have never seen anything like it. His offensive game shows lots of promise. Cleveland should make him the man and if the other guys don't like it, trade them.

Timmy didnt have a series he was this useless and awful offensively until he was 40yo in his retirement season

Pure delusion to think Mobley will ever have a Tim Duncan role on an offense
