Making fun of our casualties is awful. I think that guy was a buck security guard

Are we sure? Zo had back to back top 3 MVP finishes (2nd one year) and played here for 11 years.

Big advertisement for Heat culture. I wonder how many disgruntled stars are now looking at Heat as potential destination. Even if we don't win a chip if we can get to ECF finals, we would be in great position in the offseason. I gotta imagine someone like Dame, who wants to win, wanting to be a part of this
I think the biggest fish Miami can get this summer would be Beal. With a new FO, him having the power with the no trade clause, he can basically force Washington to trade him to Miami.
Maybe I'm down on Beal but at this point is he really that much of an upgrade over Herro?
Hes not lol i want another superstar next to butler.. beal isnt that guy.. we need a top 10 player in the worst way… or even a Paul George type but without the injuries

im not joking. I legit believe this. we need a DNA test. There are stories that MJ fathered an kid out of wedlock, and Jimmy's mother said she didnt want to reveal the father to protect his legacy

I'm still having trouble adjusting to this new reality. Worried that I might wake up tomorrow and be in a different universe. Maybe I'll skip sleeping?

I remember 11-30 with these guys. ^

I actually really like this answer, wish it was seen like this more widespread in sports
Agree. There's parity right now. There are a lot of great teams and a lot of great players who can be considered best in the world. There isn't a prime GS or prime Lebron who are heads and shoulders better than everyone where you expect a title run each season. Any playoff team right now can be beat. It was a disappointing end to their season but I wouldn't label this as a failure or a stain to Giannis or the Bucks legacy. But I'd bet the main sports show talk tomorrow won't be heat win, it will be 'is this a stain in Giannis legacy'
He's right about the answer, but gentlemen sweep by the 8th seed's definitely a stain as far as stains go. They basically lost a 3-1 lead in reverse lol

He gave a good interview including blasting a reporter who asked him if he considers the season a failure.

Beal is a huge upgrade over Herro although I'd rather see more of a 2-way player brought in vs a mostly one way player. I'm not sure who else could be available that Miami could get, I think Dame stays in Portland one more year. Beal could go back into main option mode for the first 3 1/2 quarters and get back to scoring nearly 30 a night in Miami.

Longevity would help but we’ve seen this level of play only from 2 guys in Heat history

That would be a massive mistake. That contract is ugly, he can never be healthy and frankly is overrated. With the heavy penalties for being over tax the line in new CBA, you gotta go after a guy thats more proven and reliable if you are taking a big contract. I think Herro gets traded but I wouldn't do it for Beal in any circumstance
