The Heat shot 45% from 3 in that series after shooting 35% (27th!) during the year. And they don’t have Herro. Crazy stuff.

Those will be the ages of Middleton, Holiday, and Lopez at the start of next season.
Giannis will be smart to take the LeBron route and leave the Bucks. Its crazy, but if he’s changing teams my bet will be with the Warriors or the Heat.
First he needs to schedule some hotel room meetings to be sure he recruits the right players to go with him.

I need an investigative piece on the Kevin Love situation. His exit from Cleveland was so strange.

And the Bucks go from annual contender to a play-in team overnight. This is the perfect start if your goal is tanking.

It's wonderful when players or coaches intelligently shove a stupid question back down a media idiot's throat.

Maxey = next Damian Lillard
Tobias = next Edgar Allan Poe

Re: Playoffs!?
Brightside of Bucks eliminated, Embiid only shoots 41% against Brolo. Im not too confident with Biid against the size of the Bucks.
Brightside of this Hawks-Celts series getting extended, Celts’ wear and tear, Celts getting exposed and Celts forced to dig deep and show all their tricks.

Since March, Heat were top 10 in 3PT made and 3PT%. They just have a switch.

Talking heads unite!
Knicks advance for the 1st time in years. 2014 IIRC.
Lakers-Warriors 2nd round series.
Then KD against his old running mates makes for some good WCF stories, amirite?

Heat leads the league in clutch wins at 32 during reg season. Spo said they’ve been training clutch moments the entire year. Heard this from the NBATV coverage.

A stretch that included Herro and Oladipo being their two highest volume guys and shooting 40%.
There’s a bit of flukiness on top of the switch lol

Re: Playoffs!?
The Miami Heat organization just gets it.
They've found success over an almost 20 year period with different superstars leading the way.
Obviously they've had the luxury of bringing in not just Hall of Famers, but also legends. However, they still seem to make it work and always be in the mix during the postseason.
Reminds me of our Eagles honestly. There aren't prolonged periods of "down years" with either franchise in this century.
Is this an overreaction to a first-round victory? Yes, but look at the Heat's track record just during the Jimmy Butler years. Not even going back to 2010-2014 with the Big Three. It's an amount of success us Sixer fans dream of as we still fight to advance past the second round.

Cavs could’ve clearly used him in their rotation but instead they dropped him. He helps Miami advance while the Cavs almost get swept out of the first round. It just doesn’t make sense to me.

They have the personality side of scouting down exceptionally well. Guys who want to work following the ultimate tireless worker. Also grab extremely hungry 2nd rounders/UDFAs who have elite skillsets and turn them into rotation players. They've done an amazing job post big-3.

I believe we patterned our defense from the Heat.

For the record, I said the Heat suck but I wouldn’t want to mess around with Jimmy Butler. So I feel like I successfully hedged my hater instincts.

Kind of interesting what the Bucks do with their roster. Giannis lack of shooting and ISO skills makes it hard to build around him. Back then it was easier when teams weren’t that prepared to face him and his PnR with Jrue.
