Who do you take going forward if you're running a franchise?

Anthony Edwards and it shouldn't be particularly close.

Paolo needs to show consistency in his ability to impact a game at a high level to the degree Edwards has repeatedly [not consistently] shown.

Ant is, at the moment, a lot better. We have no real clue what Paolo is going to turn into, because anyone can be inefficient as a rookie volume scorer.

This.
"Thibs called back and wanted more picks," said Jorge Sedano. "And Pat Riley, literally, I was told, called him a mother-bleeper and hung up the phone."

I gotta feeling Paolo VS Franz will be closer in a few years than Paolo VS Ant.........

I'm not trying to crap on Paolo, in fairness. He played well for a rookie, right in line with a lot of other very good players in their first season. But on first pass, right at the moment, Ant is very much better at this time. He's also only a year older and has more NBA experience, so he's further along his developmental curve, so we'll see what happens in years 2 and 3 for Paolo, and if Ant can bring his playoff game into the RS.

Paolo. Ant wouldn't be doing anything better than him on Orlando's roster

I don't agree. I don't think Minny's roster is doing Ant any favors. He'd probably look better in Orlando, not worse IMHO.

Paolo was better in college and through his first rookie year, but edwards was younger. Its tough to choose Paolo when Edwards is more proven and is just coming off a 30 ppg play off series.
