I fully expect another 2 or 3 days off after game 4 and/or 5 too. Maybe both so they assure a game 6 on that Sat or Sunday. It'll be a long series, just because of scheduling. But as you said, this is def a good thing for our guys. Especially considering how we looked after getting the 2 days off (last night).
G1 - Saturday in Denver
G2 - Monday in Denver
**3 more full days off**
G3 - next Friday, May 5, in Phoenix
G4 - next Sunday, May 7, in Phoenix
I could see Game 5 on Wednesday and Game 6 on Saturday or Sunday.
Game 5 is Tuesday the 9th, if necessary
Game 6 is Thursday the 11th, if necessary
Game 7 is Sunday the 14th, if necessary.

Anecdotally only, Murray seems to go pretty nuts against the Suns historically.

It looks like a given that Book and KD will combine for 60pts(+?).
Game plan will be to hold the rest to 40-50. Our D has fallen off some, but there is no denying the offensive punch.

The teams are going big in the PO. The rhythm has slowed down, as it is usual.
Only the Celtics are still playing just one big at a time, which seems to have developed against them in the last two games.
Miami played Love 32 minutes yesterday, with Adebayo and Zeller playing almost all minutes at centre.
The Butler playing SF most of the time.
Atlanta plays two bigs then adds one big from the bench and two quite big forwards.
Denver usually plays with three bigs and then some from the bench.
The Lakers play three bigs all the time.
Only the Complainers play two, and sometimes just one. By the way, Green went nuts (more nuts) with 21 last night. Unbelievable.

I think the mid range mafia crew will have a field day against Jokic. I’m also super excited for DA, he usually plays his best against Jokic.
One call out on Torrey Craig/Josh Okogie.. If my memory serves me right, Michael Malone is known for leaving the 5th guy open on the Suns. They have to hit those shots.
I got Suns in 6.

This is what ive been saying (we're targeting Jokic every single damn possession) but on the flip side we're pretty bad defensively and there's no doubt Jokic will return the favor. Doesn't really matter who is on him. And they'll no doubt seek to hound Paul when he brings it up (every team does this now) and when Murray has the ball with his size advantage will look for the match up with Paul.
Don't know who will win. Could be close or could be a murder both ways.

Suns were 7th in DEF RTG this season. Denver will absolutely score on them but I don't think it's fair to say the suns are a bad defensive team.sunskerr wrote:Jdiddy701 wrote:I think the mid range mafia crew will have a field day against Jokic. We've been pretty bad since the end of the year I think. Clippers ran through us pretty easily too.

Yeah it wasn't great against the Clippers, for some reason that matchup has been hard for Phoenix for the past few years. And Denver will score, great offense beats good d. Just saying it's not really fair/correct to call the suns a bad D. I think the fact everyone scores so much now we have to reset our minds on what good D is.sunskerr wrote:WeekapaugGroove wrote:Suns were 7th in DEF RTG this season. And I think we were still top 10 defense post Kevin Durant trade with him only playing 8 games and us running a bench crew heavily.

My only wish is to never have to see Landry Shame play in a playoff game for the Suns again. When Monty was asked about it in his press conference he got really defensive and almost angry before the question was even finished. Shamet will be Monty's downfall. Weird guy to pick for a hill to die on.

he said he played shamet because the defence might guard him more than craig/okogie. Why would the defence guard a guy who can't shoot?

we need to kick off Operation Diarrhea Island for Shamet. Somehow someway we need him to come down with a prolonged case of indigestion that keeps him DNP for the whole playoffs.

Shamet would be a fine baseball player with all the line drives the throws at the rim.
