So basically we would gain a 4th round pick if we fell back to 29. Cowboys also hinting they may trade up if Bijan Robinson or Darnell Washington fall around the 20th pick.

Spoiler:
Bijan is going top 10

You know I’d like to see the Cowboys give another look at. Ben DeNucci. He played extremely well in the XFL. I know they signed Cooper Rush already but I’d really like to see DeNucci get another shot at the NFL.

This makes sense if the Cowboys are looking at Luke Musgrave. I personally would still prefer one of the DT’s or OL.

I don't think anything past rd3 holds much value. At that point you're playing the lottery. Sure lots of studs come from late rounds, and even Dak was a 4th, but like 90% of them don't hit. We got really lucky with Dak.

I don't want to trade down just to acquire late picks.

You may call it lucky, but based on the last 7 years it was unlucky considering all the great QB's that have been taken since then.

He was the best QB in that entire draft and we were aiming to trade up for Paxton Lynch who can't hold Dak's jockstrap. So yes we got EXTREMELY lucky.

The better QBs that have been taken since are all top-10 draft picks. We never sucked bad enough to be in place for any of them. The Bengals had to be the worst team in the NFL to get Burrow.

I disagree there there’s not much talent in this draft after round 3. There are several really good TE’s, RB’s, LB’s, and DL that should be available on day 3. Not to mention that the Cowboys have a guy running the draft that has proven to be really good. Will McClay has been pretty good at finding starters in the later rounds.

Neither has the Kansas City Chiefs. They moved up like 18 or 19 spots to the 10 pick and basically gave up most of their draft capital to select Patrick Mahomes. You don't have to suck if you see the GUY you really want and go after him. And I'm sure the Chiefs are not sad about that move.

This draft is exceptionally deep at guard, center, DT, RB and TE. There are plenty of gems in the 3ird and 4th rounds this year. Just my opinion.

Yea I think he signed with the Texans pretty early in free agency. Semi Fuhoko is the new Noah Brown.

Never heard of Fuhoko or know a thing about him. I guess Noah Brown is so under the radar I never noticed the movement in FA. I'm not sure he was going to work out anyways.

Oh well let's just trade up for Mahomes then! Geez I didn't realize it was all that simple. I'm not sure why every team isn't doing that, I mean look at KC, they did it.

Can we please take the gloves off for one day and enjoy the draft. It does matter to me that we do the best we can to make this team better.

This will be Fuhoko’s 3rd season with the Cowboys. If he’s been active he’s been mostly a special teams guy. He’s a big WR.

Announced this morning that Micah Parsons is moving to full time DE. Anther reason why I wanted to draft another LB in round 2. I had a feeling this was going to happen.

The Cowboys are getting a lot of praise for drafting DeMarvion Overshown.

Actually, except for our second round pick, we did pretty damn good imho. Thought we could have done much better there.

I’m going to ask you again after the season and see what you think of Schoonmaker. I understand he seems like a reach in the 2nd round (he was) but I see what the Cowboys were thinking by drafting him. He’s bigger and more athletic than Schultz. He’s an excellent blocker with the potential to be a very good receiver. It will be up to MM (who historically loves TE’s) to coach him up in that area.

Watch him seal the edge on this play.
