Some perspectives from the Sixers board in a thread about their keys to victory against us...

The Celtics cannot really contain a healthy Harden from scoring OR playmaking.

Boston is due for a big playoff injury. Sixers in 7.

Hawks figured out how to beat the Celts by attacking Al Horford.

If Biid is healthy, I wouldnt be surprised if we put him on Tatum this series, most likely in crunch time.

If Biid is out, then it's just Maxey Cs have to moderately contain. Control the boards too vs Reed. Then they have no reliable backup big. Cs in 2.

The Cs are a great bet to take an early lead in the series. But if anybody knows how series leads can be turned around, it's Doc Rivers.

I'm not even gonna watch this series. What's the point? Beating up on a team missing their best player is boring. All the other playoff series should be fun to watch though

Embiid will not be healthy in this series, even if he doesn't play in game 1 it's not enough time to heal and there is only 1 day between games, they will not rest him until he is healthy because in that the series would be over.

I'm actually nervous if Embiid does not play. Boston plays it's best when they are hard locked in and focused.. They literally may lose focus because of the big man not playing...

I'm also p***** again that we lost our home game 5.. Had we won there may have been more than 2 games that Joel did not play..

Either way with or without we are The more talented and balanced team so I hope we just play up to our abilities regardless.

I’m not buying anything that Doc Rivers says. He definitely playing game 1. If he doesn’t, i don’t want our guys playing down to competition like they are some world beaters. If Bid doesn’t play, we shoupd blow them out this game, and not let them hang around the entire game, and have a chance to steal it in the end. If they repeat those **** games against the hawks this series, then this team is really stupid lazy immature not worthy to win it all.

Embiid being out is annoying, would rather them at their peak. But assuming embiid is mvp, you can be damn sure the refs will bail him out even more than usual

If his LCL sprain is worse than a grade 1, it’s at least partially torn. And it’s not an injury that heals very well or very easily. Not something you can really play through either
